They did the same before they got Peyton and it was staggeringly in Tebows favor just like that poll. That poll literally means jack ****.
Id like to see that poll where they wanted Tebow over Peyton.

I agree this poll result was comical, but have to admit it was eye-popping.

We dont know the teams romo will want go to, and we dont know what the cowboys are asking for.
If we knew that we could judge it better.
We also dont know if denver or houston have made an offer or not.
All we can do is wait, and it looks like we might have a long wait.

The bad part is teams that romo doesnt want might be making good offers.

Plenty of people think that Jerry absolutely does not want Romo in Houston.

The trade market is small due to heath, age, and cost.....but its also very small because Romo has little interst in playi g for crap teams, so they are out. Then Jerry doesnt want him in Washington (if Cousins escaped) and may even prefer to a lessor degree that he not go to little brothers team down in Houston.

Exact opposite is true. The longer it goes on, the less options teams have and the more they start to worry.

I think in the long term this is true but unfortunately I dont believe we will operate in that time frame. We are likely operating within a small window (self imposed) and I do feel as if the odds are falling off with each day that we dont get/accept an offer. The vultures are circling and thinking Jerry will indeed release Romo as reported.

But honestly who knows? All we need is one team to pick up the phone.

It can work both ways. Waiting may finally make a team blink, or not. On the flip side, if nobody trades for Tony (and I don't think a team will), and the team waits too long before finally releasing him, Tony may find himself in a situation where the teams he wanted to go to, could no longer want him, even as a free agent.

As time goes on, salary caps get used, rosters spots get finalized, and game plans with the current roster start to get going.

Oh stop your Anti-Romo nonsense. You sound like a fool. It's like u want Romo to be released so you can talk about your insight and how smart you are. Clown time. BTW way your Dak pic is corny. What are you like 10 years old?

Yep, I'm anti-Romo. You sure nailed me.

At the end of the day, there is only so long some teams will be likely willing to wait for him before they moves on. If he hits free agency too late, it could possibly hurt his options. That's not being an anti-Romo, 10 year old...

I don't understand why Jerry hasn't allowed Romo and his agent to go shopping for a trade. If Romo was in a room with the Houston coaches and front office people, I have no doubt he could convince them to make a deal. I think Romo would be his own best salesman so let him go out and talk to teams and see if anything comes of it.

I agree with this. I think the longer we wait, Texans could go get a guy like cutler
