The Walking Dead-Season 7, episodes 9-16

Film making at it's absolute worst.......

Lol. That's just so bad. Like, Land of the Lost bad.

I know....some of the stuff was so stupid that my kid and I were just laughing through the episode.

And it only gets worse.....I mean, really? Who comes up with this character? And who comes up with the idea that they should speak in riddles and walk around like mental patients?

They're sort of killing the franchise this season. All the stuff they did well, they're no longer doing well. And then they're spending what budget they do have in the wrong places. And there's no excuse for the silliness like the new pigeon dialects cropping up after 5-6 years post-apocalypse. It'd be funny if it weren't frustrating to see it fall apart.

It really is difficult to picture a group that lethargic being good for much of anything in combat except drawing fire. Might've been better off arming some of the zombies.

I don't get it quite frankly.

You would think after everything Rick has been through he'd be more careful of any group but one especially as weird as this one.

The storyline is being drug out far to much so far.

I have a very serious suspicion/fear that they're dragging it out so much this season that the All Out War with Negan won't actually happen till next season.
I think this is exactly what happens.

Looks like it to me too..they have to get the kingdom to commit, then probably a Sasha and Rosita episode, which I hope they both get smoked, but will probably just be Sasha. Then Oceanside, no way they're gonna just go in a blow away a bunch of women, that'll probably be another Tara episode.

Then this last show rick doesn't want to go back to Alexandria to his kids, when there's no one there? I ts just Tara and the priest

The season's been a snoozer after the opener. Splitting the characters up among four locations has made TWD feel like later seasons of Lost.

Killing Glenn basically removed one of the few characters speaking in complete sentences and having coherent thoughts.

Really expected Jesus would be a much bigger character in the show.

Also expected more with Maggie at Hilltop. Is Lauren Cohan on another show?

Rosita's entire behavior is strange. When Carl went rogue, it made some sense. He's a kid. He's been making dumb decisions for several seasons. She's not new at this. Suddenly she's John Rambo because the story needs one to create some conflict. And she's giving Tara attitude, like Tara can't possibly understand what Rosita's going through. Uh, Tara's girlfriend wasn't shot through the eye with a crossbow? You were standing 3 ft away from her, Rosita.

And the Garbage Pail Kids...c'mon. I bet they're all from some local theatre school or art college. Has to be an act.

they did last week. a zombie, a former military person, still had his gun strapped to him when he turned. that in itself is a near impossibility as even if bit, he'd still take the gun and empty it.

speaking of which, what good does a lot of guns do w/o any bullets?

Maybe he died unexpectedly. Stray bullet while he was smoking a cig or something.

What was up with the zombies that had their hands tied behind their backs?

that appears to be a clever trick by the writers to give you some form or fashion of a reason to make you want to come back and find out what horrible CGI will befall on us next sunday.

Episode 7-13... 3-12-17

Getting a little closer to some group vs. group fisticuffs.

Let's hope so!

Being there's only 3 more episodes to go including tonight... You know nothing of significant is going to happen until the last episode of the season. The only good thing coming in that is I doubt we'll see another goofy cliff-hanger.

Belicheck : we are keeping 10 to find more
Jerry : 5
Belicheck : 9
Jerry : 6 and you give the cat back
Belichck: 20 and I keep the cat. Say yes!
Jerry : yes

One of the better episodes this season.

Hope they never kill-off Melissa McBride.

Good show tonight. Looks like Morgan is finally on board. Can't wait for the clash between Alexandria, Hilltop, The Kingdom, and The Saviors to finally go down.

From the looks of things (the preview of next week's show) it looks like Hilltop gets their motivation to revolt.
