i drifted away from that one but loved it when i was watching it. i need to pick back up on it.
So you quit watching a show you love, but continue to watch a show you complain about nearly every week...?

Really slow-paced episode.

Not much to advance the story. Obviously the writers put a massive choke on the last half of the season so the real action between the groups doesn't happen until the very end of the season.

The Rick "fake-out death" was only going to fake out Michonne, no one that is watching the series was going to buy it. The "throwing her the sword" felt like a cheesy 3-Muskateers movie.

Tara spilling her guts to Rick was going to happen... Just a question of how long it was going to take.

One other thing... Whomever is responsible for the CGI in this show ought to get a spike through the noggin...

It's dreadful.

The deer was stunningly bad.

When the best part of an episode is the leader of the garbage-group and her need for speech therapy– You know you have a problem episode.

This episode was another filler POS. Could of been done in 15 minutes.

I don't mind some of the filler shows, but this on was bad.

This episode felt alot like the Rick and Daryl episode a couple seasons ago. I enjoyed that one, but this was just off. From the careless fights with the zombies, the military base that somehow has managed to not be cleaned out, to Rosita being scared of the one mama June zombie, to the freaking trash people who need to just go.

Lots of terrible writing going on. Sure hope it picks back up

effects in general have been a joke. they can nesure each and every zombie is more than perfect but the backdrops, bad cgi and so forth just scream they've given up.

rick needs a vacation. name of the show. it wasn't too bad overall they got guns now and lots of food. it had a few good moments. but yea, the throwing of the sword in super slow motion screamed jr high.

It just seems like the producers, writers, directors are just insulting the fans at this point. A horrible CGI deer? Really? Why not just use a real deer which I'm sure they've used in the past?

So Rick and Michone are killing dozens of zombies by themselves but Rick takes a break to climb a circus ride to kill a deer when there are still zombies alive that would eat it anyway? And there's no explanation why soldiers and civilians ended up together at a carnival/fair or why this fair was so well supplied with military rations and weapons. Just stupid.

Then Rick takes the guns to the Garbage People and they're not enough. I can understand that. But why take them there in the first place? Why not just keep them until you're ready to take on the Saviors? 65 guns isn't nearly enough. But then Rick wants to keep some. He bargains for 10, Bad Haircut tells him 5 so he ups the offer to 20 which she accepts. I mean, it's just insultingly bad writing at this point with no respect for the fans.

Oh....I forgot Rosita explaining her dilemma with Rick's baby. This show has gotten horribly bad.

You mean Tara and Ricks baby, but yeah, I was laughing at that scene. Has there ever been an awake 3 year old be that quiet for that long ever? And to make it appear as though she's listening.
I didn't think the episode was all that bad. Yes obvious plot holes with the carnival/school, and how nobody around would not remember it being there or stumbling across it.

The guns deal annoyed me, uh Rick, maybe just take them half the guns cause you know they're gonna say it isn't enough. Then you won't have to renegotiate to keep some guns to survive. Even if that crazy chick thinks you've kept some, you don't bring all of them.
I'm always amazed at how this show can make characters just disappear, what's Carl been doing since Negan was making fun of his eye like a month ago?

Agree on the gun deal.

Just seems like Rick has dropped his drawers and get bent over for this group when on the surface they seem to be the most unreliable.

Shane's head would have literally spun around if he were around when Rick gave up all those guns.

I didn't pay close enough attention to notice whether Rick gave a gun count before meeting with the Garbage people, but hopefully he did pocket a few just in case. Otherwise, they really shouldn't follow him.

I don't mind the storyline so much this season--though it's got some problems. But some of the decisions they've made with how to convey the story....just. bad. The Rick/Michonne love story is not believable in the first place, and the weird travel montage with them getting it on was sort of painful. They're choosing the wrong scenes to drive the plot forward, spending airtime on dumb things like Tara struggling to out a group that tried to kill her by talking it over with a baby. I mean, really. They could keep the same plot and show us scenes we actually care about and get to the same place.

The CGI stuff is so bad, I have no idea what they were thinking and how somebody was not fired for it. They'd literally have been better off using random footage of a buck or using a mechanical deer or a stuffed animal. It's ridiculous.

I did like the setting for the zombie carnival, though. And the pulling apart of the state trooper zombie was pretty satisfying. They need to get back to more of that.

The storyline is being drug out far to much so far.

I have a very serious suspicion/fear that they're dragging it out so much this season that the All Out War with Negan won't actually happen till next season. Which would be an absolutely ridiculous and terrible idea on the pacing of the show.

Last nights episode was pretty boring for the most part. Couple of decent lines and nothing else really. The slow motion throwing of her sword was so bad I was laughing so hard at how bad it really was. It was pointless and stupid.

From the previews it appears we will get a reason as to why Ezekiel and the Kingdom finally join in. It looks like Rick will be told about Oceanside and obviously Sasha and Rosita will be getting themselves captured and/or killed very soon. They're incredibly stupid people.
