I'm guessing it you want a DE, you hope there's a run of Qbs which will make teams draft non-first round talent early, making it more likely an End with a one-two grade fall to us. But if you want BPA and take advantage of the depth at corner and safety, you hope Qbs are there at 28 for a trade down. But I want to rip someone off if we're losing the fifth year option

We're picking 28th. Assuming we sit still, we're likely getting a player with a 2nd round grade.

I dont know, wasnt mo 1st rd? and they had some 2nd rd guys.
I dont know how that compares to other teams either.

All the good def players in nfl are not 1st round players.
Marinellis flaws, dont have anything to do with the players he has.
And if dallas gets some better def players, then the defense will improve no matter who the coach is.
The only question will be how much it will improve.

That is true, but dallas knew GB practices holding in such a way as to not draw a penalty.
Rushing only 3 makes that holding easier, and more effective. That was a planned roll out,
better to force him to stay in pocket with more guys.
It is just opinion, I say we should have rushed 5 not let him roll out, and you can have your opinion too.

They had a lot of success with that 3 man line during the season. It probably would have worked on that final play if they didn't hold Irving.

well it depends on who your playing ??
My guess is rodgers loves the 3 man line.
If he rolls out he see the field better, and with more time he will find someone.

I agree, I think it will be DE but I also think the choice will be between CB and DE and if they have a higher rated CB available at their pick, they would be foolish not to take him. We have serviceable bodies on the Dline. We don't really have 3 starting CB's Imo and that is the biggest need.
