Fisher on Conley

No but I also wouldn't think she had some character flaw if she did happen to engage in a group sex act.

Would you think your daughter or son was flawed if they did something like this?

Yes, I believe it would be a sign that something is wrong and I would try to get help. This kind of behavior has a way of escalating and can be very unsafe and damaging to an individual.

If he's there in round two you go get him if the evidence looks good on his behalf.

Wut? Help? So if a son or daughter engaged in a group sex act you would send them to therapy because they will somehow damage them? Hahahahaha.

Let me guess, are you one of those ones that thinks you can use therapy to make someone less or not gay?

Kids are freaks now. Stuff that like probably is not nearly as odd as they seem.

Oh. My. God.

No, I don't believe that. But I do believe in sexual addiction and unhealthy sexual practices that can be corrected by improving a sense of self-worth.

This kind of behavior is the norm in today's society. Sex isn't viewed as a sacred encounter between two people. To the younger generation (I'm 24, so I'm part of it, not that I engage in or condone), sex is just another hobby or a thing to do. It's far from something to judge someone's moral compass, especially for someone younger who grew up in a more sexualized and desensitized world.

We spend the whole draft season debating hurt shoulders and questionable IQ.

But somehow we're ok with drafting a guy accused of rape?

This is trouble anyway you look at it. Stay away from trouble.

Oh no, not at 28. At 60 though?

Dane Brugler has him listed at the #36 player in the draft, obviously others have him rated higher but I don't think its a slam dunk pick purely on value at 28.

Engaging in a group sex act does not mean a person has a sexual addiction or it's unhealthy.

The key word being accused. Not guilty.

If the Cowboys do their due diligence and they feel strongly the case has no merit, absolutely, why wouldn't they take a shot on him in the 3rd round, say?

I understand, I'm in my early 30's and not so far removed. However, it's not like that for everyone and I, for one, will raise my children virtuously despite society's crumbing morality.

I'll respect your opinion on the matter, but I do not share it. Kind of got derailed, but if I was in charge of making the pick the report would give me pause.

It's not an opinion. It's pretty much fact. If a person engages in a group sex act, it does not mean they then have a sexual addiction.

And nothing got derailed. This is applicable to the discussion Conley. You wouldn't draft him because you claimed that because he may have engaged in some capacity in a group sex act, it shows a significant character flaw that you would want stamped out of your kids if they had the same flaw through therapy because it would be a very damaging, unhealthy, immoral flaw that somehow means without help, your kids (and Conley) would turn into some deviant.

Accused, yes. But that's enough. We're not talking about difficulties learning the playbook or even suspensions. We're talking potential jail time. The risk/reward here is too strong and there are similar prospects without the potential of being rapists
