Marijuana use is up amongst minors in Colorado.

There you go spreading lies about how the cattle industry is bad for the environment.

LOL, the first thing you see when you click on the first article is OPINION in big words. Dude, just stop. Even Colorado's own governor, who was admittedly against legalization, has come out and said the pros far outweigh the cons, youth use is down, etc. It's not a very hard concept; drug dealers don't care what age you are and will sell to anyone. When I was a kid, it was way easier to get pot than alcohol because you had to convince an adult to go into a beer store, often on camera, and purchase it from a cashier. Drug dealers would sell you anything in a shady environment. Once marijuana is regulated and sold it takes the wind out of the dealers' sails and makes it harder for kids to get. I just visited Colorado and it was cleaner and safer than most cities here in Texas. They seem to be doing just dandy.
Regardless of semantics and biased or non-biased articles, as you can see in the responses on this post, you are in the minority. The overwhelming majority of studies show the positives of legalization outweigh the negatives and usually in conversations like this I'd say I see 1 out of every 15 or so people who buy into the reefer madness crap and don't support legalization. Everyone else is all for it. As a conservative I can't abide being for less government while advocating for the government to legislate telling people what they can and can't do in their living room. Should there be laws to prohibit being stoned and driving just like their are for alcohol? Absolutely. But should it be illegal to go home and smoke a joint instead of having a beer if you are responsible? Hell no.
I fully believe that the NFL will remove testing for pot in the upcoming collective bargain agreement with the NFLPA. It is a huge bargaining chip the NFL owners have, not to mention it's the right thing to do based on where we are as a society. Randy Gregory definitely needs help if he couldn't stop smoking pot. He was clearly using it to cope with a more underlying issue the same way someone can use alcohol or McDonald's to make themselves feel better. It doesn't make the substances evil, it means they need to address the root of the problem.
