wow, this is the scary part of TX...
Gonna take my daughter to a thai restaurant for lunch tomorrow. What do you recommend? Last week I saw someone eating noodles from a big bowl, any idea what that might be?

what did u eat last time - and what did u like and not like about it?

say @Trouty and i mentioned, beef or chicken satay is a nice appetizer
do u like curries or want to try?

Panang Curry (ask for it "Thai spicy" and get it with duck if they have it, if they don't, chicken tends to get rubbery in Thai curries, so get pork or beef), drunken noodles, larb, and for an appetizer chicken satay with extra chutney!

u may want to try the pad thai if the recipe sounds good.

@Ranching, the noodles from a big bowl sounds like Pho. But that's Vietnamese food. I don't know what they were eating. Thai noodle dishes are generally served dry, on plates.

Maybe they serve Pho there.
