We all know this as a lame attempt by the team to try to make players and media think they were not taking any ****, but the whole world knew Lucky was never making this team once we drafted Switzer. It's a little late guys for trying to set examples. You failed for over 4 years now since every year multiple players seem to get suspended. Some key players in a position of weakness to begin with.

I doubt he would ever win a wrongful termination suit.

It is not like the Cowboys have not protected themselves by stating it was a decision made on the totality of his issues, not just this one. They can easily point to the continued distractions, his unavailability during the offseason, his behavior last season.

Worth looking at at least. I would at the very least contact a lawyer

I don't think you could win that one. The NFL fines and suspends without evidence....

That is in the CBA, players really messed that vote up.

Oh well. Switzer needed the snaps anyways. Sucks for him, but I'm not sweating cutting a guy who needed to be cut already anyways.

Feel bad for him, but he's better off. Wasn't gonna make the team and will have a chance elsewhere.
I'm sure he has aome kind of case against the PD.

That's a good point, Lucky has a much better chance of getting money in a settlement with the police than he did from an NFL salary this year.

Also I don't get how anyone can blame the front office, the warrant out for Lucky was real until today and the FO had no way of knowing it was a mistake. Cutting him yesterday just sped up his exit by a few weeks, its not like he was going to start for this team.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Jason looks like a joker now. He has some damage control to do in that locker room. The players are probably thinking that the coach doesn't have their back.

It is sad that in an attempt to draw a line in the sand and get tough, it could blow up in our faces.

Try to stop drama and end up creating more self-inflicted drama. You cannot make this up.
