Zeke Elliot, no proof -- 6 Games.

Ray Rice, knockout video -- 4 Games

So the NFL finds enough evidence to suspend him but the actual police department doesn't? So much bs

NFL is setting a dangerous precedent with suspensions based on accusations. This is going to get uglier as NFL office looks completely lost.

I want to hear Roger Goodell explain what Ezekiel Elliott did that's six times as bad as what Josh Brown did

Brown’s 2015 arrest on a domestic violence charge and a statement by Brown’s former wife to the police that he had been physically violent with her on numerous occasions.

The charge against Brown, who has been suspended for one game by the N.F.L., was dropped days after his arrest. The N.F.L. said its investigation could not corroborate the statements made by Molly Brown, Josh Brown’s wife at the time of the arrest.

Mara, who said the Giants were aware of what Molly Brown had told the police, said the team had made similar inquiries into the matter before signing Josh Brown to a two-year, $4 million contract in April.

Texas is a flyover state, the east coast elites may not be pro NY Giants but they could certainly be anti Cowboy by nature....The freakin IRS targeted political groups it didn't like, anything is possible with people in power, or maybe they know something we don't, just scattershooting.....

east coast elites? Aren't there more billionaires in Texas than anywhere else?

We'll see what Jerry is made of? Is he about business or about Cowboys?

This is the only revenge I can think of that Jerry can do if 6 game suspension holds up:

1. Dak goes on sabbatical with Zeke to Argentina to play with loose woman. Jerry goes with them as well as Jaylon and Dez. The 5 amigos posts their happy trip on Cowboys mothership. This tanks the year and gets them a top 3 draft pick for war daddy.
2. A bad Cowboys team pisses off many owners and NFL because they will lose revenues and TV ratings as Cowboys games were most of the top TV draws last year. Jerry can easily afford it, and he can turn home games into subtle Goddell hate fests and will feature the 5 amigos saying hi from the beaches of Argentina with 2 ladies sitting on Zeke's lap feeding him grapes and booze.
3. Piss off NFL more by bringing in Kapernick to replace Dak for the year, Ray Rice for RB, and Hardy for RDE. This would also make it easier to keep Hardy for 2018 and 2019 because the contract would have 2 1-year options.
4. During the season, sue NFL for antitrust and HR violations.
5. As Hardline said, hire PI to investigate Goddell and expose him.
6. Put bounty on Eli and an up and coming defensive player on the Giants when we play them. 15 yard penalties = bonus for the game.

Jerry can cut off his nose to get back at the NFL and Goddell.
As of Dec 19:
"Four of the five most watched NFL games this season, per Sports Media Watch, are Cowboys games. They are: Cowboys-Commanders on Thanksgiving (35.1 million); Cowboys-Steelers (28.9 million); Cowboys-Packers (28.0 million); Vikings-Lions (27.6 million) and Cowboys-Giants (27.5 million)."

Yes, unfortunately, yes. This is the message every player in the NFL should receive and should unequivocally understand. You can't act like there are no rules. Proof or not, you have to understand this.
I'm sure players around the league see this and realize the targets that are on their backs...
But as fans we have to understand that these are regular guys who have lives off the field and this situation is unavoidable many times..We need to hold the league accountable for setting a troubling precedent today.

Oh so she gets the benefit of the doubt that this particular street fight didn't cause her bruising. What about the multiple witnesses that say she announced her intentions to ruin Zekes career..or the multiple witnesses that say Zeke didn't touch her and wasn't even that close to her that night?

i am repeating what i heard on the pc today. They said when asked that she did say events happened that did not but it didnt change the fact that she was assaulted apparently.

Punishment was under personal conduct policy
The whole thing is the Personal Conduct Policy but the suspension was specifically for DV ...it has it entire sub section to itself.... that is why they went with pre-determined 6 games....... they said St Pattys Day had zero impact on suspension

Yes, I'm pulling for Morris. Great dude.

I need a new jersey since I am not going to wear the 9 to the stadium anymore. I want to buy a morris jersey but I am not sold he is on the roster for long.

For what it's worth, I worked with Pater Harvey at my old law firm, and can attest that he is a thoughtful, reasonable, decent guy whose judgment and skill in my opinion are beyond reproach.

I thought it was very interesting that the NFL made him available for an extensive call with the media today in which he thoroughly and methodically described the process. Most critical, in my opinion, is the fact that he made it clear that the league had substantial, highly-relevant evidence that was not available to the prosecutors in Ohio -- namely, the metadata associated with the multitude of text and email communications that Zeke and the accuser (among others) engaged in on or around the dates of the alleged incidents. These metadata reportedly confirmed the accuser's timeline, and did not coincide with Zeke's.

For me, personally, this indicates that Zeke is dead to rights here, and plainly engaged in some kind of physical abuse. It also means to me that his appeal will not materially affect the length of the suspension, if it does at all.

Sad to say it, but whatever you think about the process, justice was almost certainly served here.

He'll just say that the NFL was wrong with Josh Brown and Ray Rice but are improving the way they handle DV cases. Putting more time and diligence to investigate these charges. The NFL understands that DV is serious and affects millions of women! The NFL protects the innocent women of the USA. USA USA USA USA !

Women groups all over the US and especially East coast will clap harder than Garrett! Non cowboys NFC east fans will chant Go Roger!

The only fact that should matter is that he was neither arrested nor charged.

Sorry but the NFL is above the law...

Or at least beyond it. :)

I'm not trying to be a wise guy but trying to apply common, everyday law to this situation doesn't work. The NFL is it's own organization with its own rules and standards... Rules and standards that they can change whenever they feel the need.
