Face it Fans, the Cowboys are a Badly Managed Organization

Well Dak was blind luck, Jerry and even admitted he didn't want him. Does the "top ranking draft team over the past 4 years" include players that become suspended? Doesn't management include more than just drafting players? What about awesome acquisitions like Hardy?
Just saying what other publications have been saying...that in more recent years, Dallas has been drafting very well compared to most other teams.

If you disagree with mutilple sources on that topic, I'm not really here to argue about it.

Huh? lol. I'll buy your next beer brother :)

more consistent at what winning games that's true but not at drafting in the last three years.
Luck happens and because luck happens isn't a negative reflection on any team
What in the wide wide world name of sports are you talking about? I'm drunk but give it a break.

do you disagree with the statement you responded to?
There's plenty of recognition around the league on this fact.
Full disclosure, unlike some people. I've been drinking, please elaborate. athank god for autocorrect.

Good draft bad draft what difference does it make until we start winning in the playoffs? Why do I think Zeke's suspension is going to be another excuse for failure?
well we'll see wont we.
if we can come out of the first 6 games 3-3 then I give us betting odds.

Yeah, my point was (and I included that) they are better managed more recently

We all know that overall in a much longer term 20 years, they have come up short.
Most tend to think they've advanced from that. If not..that's fine too.

You'll never hear me say this team will win the Super Bowl with these defensive deficiencies.
Sure hope so, of course.
I'd say this team is way younger than that 2007 team, and they seem to be better positioned for longer term success.

Oh, more recently? How recent? Where's the postseason wins?

What you say about the 2007 team in comparison to this one and it's future is pure conjecture. Fan fluff. Doesn't mean anything. You can't point to that opinion as proof of some different era.

The bottom line is this team is run today by the same people who ran it in 1996. We've gotten the same results too. Mostly mediocre. Occasional good year. Can't win in the playoffs.

And you call that well run. I call it a disgrace of a once proud franchise.

Agree with you with one rather large caveat. They have to field the team in toto. Having twenty percent of your starters on suspension won't win too many games. Bring in General KELLY and see how many of these knuckeheads act out.

Using playoff wins to determine whether or not a team is poorly managed is dumb anyway. A team in the upper quartile of the league in wins over the course of a decade isn't poorly-managed. They might not be among the league elite, but they're not poorly managed.
