I hope this is not the start of a sophomore slump. Hopefully it was just opening game nerves. On a better note, the defense played great. Kudos to the boys for a great win.

Some QB just don't match up well with certain defenses. Its looks like Giants D will be thorn in his side. But he still didn't turn ball over and team won. That all that counts really. But I do agree, Dak will have to play better for this team to be contender. I think he will.

You really can't make judgments after one game but the Giants look abysmal on offense.

It could be just us and Philly as the NFCE contenders. If the Giants can't figure out what the hell is wrong offensively, ewwww. They have a rough stretch coming up.

The inability of so many people here to honestly evaluate or criticize Dak is ridiculous. The guy was erratic at times tonight. A lot of passes were way off and others lacked zip giving the defender a chance to make a play (that Bease play was close to a pick 6 because of this).

The problems did not seem to be an issue with reading the defense or decision making, his accuracy and mechanics were just off at times.

And no, the Giants being a good D is no excuse for throwing a slant way over Dez's head.

Oh, and other QB's playing bad is irrelevant.

we only had 3 losses last year

2 were to the giants and he finally beat them. so technically every team he has ever faced he has beaten them at least once.

To clarify, I am ecstatic with the win. The fact that we won with Dak having an off night is very encouraging but this should have been a 30+ blowout. I expect Dak will bounce back next week.

right and I loved Romo but damn he stressed me out, Dak has single handedly lowered my blood pressure during these games
