-Julio was targeted 5x...caught 4...13 yards per target (80% catch rate)
-Nelson was targeted 8x....caught 7... 10 yards per target (87% catch rate)

I'll look for some more little later...

Hopkins?

I guess I'm in the minority when I say I don't think there's anything wrong with Dez.

When the CB is allowed to cheat, it makes it tough on any WR. Janoris Jenkins employed the Richard Sherman/Darrelle Revis strategy in which they grab and push the WR all game because they know it won't be called much, if at all. The one they called on Jenkins wasn't as egregious as a few others he got away with.

Being "physical" is one thing. But you're not supposed to be able to impede the WR's route with the ball in the air, and you're CERTAINLY not supposed to be able to bump/push the WR towards the sidelines with the ball in the air.

Jason Garrett has made the Shaq comparison and it fits. Shaquille O'Neal was so big and strong that he would get hammered by smaller guys and they'd get away with it. CBs are allowed to basically cheat vs Dez because he's so big and strong that it almost wouldn't be fair if they couldn't get away with some illegal tactics.

I couldn't have said it better.

Sunday night Dez

9 Targets, 2 catches, 4.77 yards per attempt (22% catch rate)

He didn't have any bad drops I remember. Seemed to keep his head in the game. But Dak and Dez didn't get it going much at all.

For comparison...
Dak to Dez: 2-9
Dak to Everyone Else: 22-30

Proud to say I haven't had one drink in 2.4 years. My life is much better now. Clarity.

Well done. I've been drinking alcohol for decades but I've never had a problem of knowing when to stop, or when not to drink in the first place. That doesn't make me better. it just makes me different. We all have our vices. The important thing is recognizing what's best for us. Again, good on you. Cheers. *raises glass*

I know it will sound as sacrilege to some, but I'm beginning to wonder if Butler is a better weapon than Dez Bryant. I raise this question despite what I see with Dez: increased maturity and improved chemistry with Dak.

Amongst the WR core Butler features the best speed...he's much faster than Dez. He is tall, long and has good hands. He's the one outside receiver who can separate with pure speed.

Dez still has the strongest hands, and is undoubtedly the guy with the most overall athletic ability. Dez can out-muscle a lot of guys.

OK...I'm not ready yet to say Brice is better. I can't say that. But I'm wondering about it.

I award you no points. May God have mercy on your soul.

It's probably good there's only one Monday night doubleheader. To me it's a holiday. Staying up for both games, used one of my PTO days tomorrow. Welcome back, NFL.

It's obvious that Brice isn't better than Dez. With that said, I'd look into taking a WR high because Dez is getting up there in age.

Have you heard of Google? It's actually a thing these days.
Naw, I'm waiting for all the experts around here to tell me who the "elite" wide receivers are and who they played. By reading your original post, you seem up to the task.;)
