1 freaking open wr!!!! LOL! What are you watching?

Your Dak love is almost nauseating.

He had a bad game today. He's not been "great" for the first two weeks of the year. Yes, he's missing open guys. I have little doubt the scouting reports this week will point out the mistakes he made.

I am sure you will disagree with them all.

People need to learn to admit that Dak had a bad game. Stop being so damn sensitive about people saying it. Romo used to get destroyed on this board when he would have a bad game, yet when Dak has one and we make excuses for him. None of this means he's a bust and is going to suck. It just means he had a bad game. It happens to all quarterbacks and he needs to learn from it and get better.
This needs to be stickied. People are acting real crazy by people stating the obvious on Dak. It makes it look worse recently when they stacking the box and making it easier for a QB to beat them. Think about it do you think someone game planning for Rodgers or Brees to beat them? Doesn't mean Dak won't get better but in our bad games even the ones we won like Minn last year this has been a theme with Daks play. We are lucky most teams defense aren't as good as Denver.

the good thing about Dak is he doesn't need to Brady or Rodgers or Brees to win a SB

unfortunately this team doesn't have the defense or skill players to allow him to be a Alex Smith or Russel Wilson

The blaming the WRs is also laughable.

I swear, some of you seem incapable of just admitting reality. Prescott sucked today. He did, as well as a whole lot of players. But this knee jerk reaction to be afraid to admit reality is hilarious.

He stunk today. He might not stink next week or the rest of the year. But for two games this year, he's played OK and crappy.
Truth! I am not sure why some take realistic criticism of a player so personally. I guess Dak is their sacred cow.

I don't see why not, it didn't take much longer than that for most people to turn on Romo in favor of Dak. You can win with Dak, but don't expect him to carry this team like Romo did for years.

Well, he said "turning on Dak."

I'll admit that he hasn't been sharp, without a doubt, but I certainly haven't "turned" on him.

Some "fans" absolutely have turned on him and already think he's trash.
Them fans probably didn't like him anyway but most are jumping on people for stating the obvious today. I notice in our bad games on O its the same formula where its let Dak beat us and it seems to work unfortunately.

It's almost comical that people can't admit when Dak has a bad game. Bizarrely funny.
I don't think that's what people are having an issue with. I think people are having an issue with, after a game when the entire offense played like crap, many folks are already bailing on Dak, and are acting like the loss was his fault.

The D was non-existent, the playcalling was mind-boggling, we had ELEVEN total rushing yards from RB's, and Dak not playing well (which I'm not sure what young QB would in that situation) is the talk of the loss. Dak's play, while it hasn't been great these first two games, could not be further from the reason we lost this game.

I'm not sure folks are not saying he played well today. No one that watched the game can come to any conclusion other than he was awful. I think the rub for most folks comes from the fact that people are already writing him off for the year and his career.

Nah, some people in this thread and others have pretty much taken the position that it's unfair to blame Prescott and that in fact, it was the OL, the WRs and RBs who played bad and let Prescott down. If they had played better, Prescott would have been magnificent.

Even you kind of do it with your last sentence, when you say Dak's play could not be further from the reason we lost this game. Actually it's one of the prime reasons we lost this game today along with bad OL play. Even when he had time, he made some bad decisions with the ball and some really poor throws.

Turning on Dak or just admitting reality?

He's not been good the first two weeks. He was actually pretty horrible today.

That's just the reality. It doesn't mean he's now Brandon Weeden forever, but the first two games have done nothing to quell the belief that maybe last year was just the fluke year for Dak.
LOL

You might want to start reading some of these threads. People are in fact doing what you said isn't happening. Some have pretty much blamed everyone by Dak for poor play today.

What makes it even funnier is all we have to do is bring up threads from when he was drafted to see whats real around here with probably some of the same posters lol. I like Dak but I can say when he didn't play good just like I could for Romo or any other QB on this team. I give them props when they do good also but nobody says nothing when that happens.

They are idiots. I don' pay them any mind. There was a group of fans......who wish Romo was still the QB.....and those fans wish ill on Dak. The root for him to do bad. So these guys have been sitting and waiting for a bad game and a bad loss to pop up....there haven't been many.....they couldn't do it last week...so they have arrived.
