Who said it was only Dak's fault? But it was never Romo's fault, always the teams. When this team loses it's Dak's fault.

The simple fact is that the Cowboys were badly mismanaged for most of Romo's career. The state of the defense at the moment suggests Dak might not be that much better off.
Romo got crucified by a disloyal fanbase for what were mostly the sins of Jerry, Wade and Garrett. If the Cowboys can't field a defense that can at least slow down what's at best league average QB play, then Dak is in for the same treatment in the years to come. I can see Dak throwing 5 TDs in 2019 and the Cowboys losing and him eating all the blame if they can't field a real defense.
No doubt peak Romo was a better player than early career Dak, but by 2016 Romo was legally dead.
The thing I love about Tony is everything I want in my QB. I just haven't seen that in Dak. I'm with the late great Denny Green. No disrespect to Dak, but being down by 21, I always knew we would climb, scratch our way into a game with Romo. That was just him. It was his identity. With Dak, it's more about control, accuracy, and not letting the defense dictate things. It's just not his game. I'm just saying..History will truly show just how underappreciated Romo was in his time in Dallas.
Tony has had awful defenses and offenses in his days. He was a baller. I need ballers.Dak inherited Romo's talented skill people on offense, but unfortunately also his defense.

How about this...I need guys who show me they are not afraid to lose to win. That's what I want. You do you and I do me. Everything ain't for everybody. I know what I like. And I haven't seen it between the white lines yet.You need a few more cliches'.
I love Tony, but he's becoming larger than life in retirement. Let's take a look at his last start as a Cowboy, gallantly leading the team back to victory. Or not...

Dak led several comeback wins last season. At SF and at PIT come to mind.Didn't Dak bring us back from 21 down against GreenBay.
In the playoffs a short 3 games ago ?

Or you could look at the Eagles game where he made the Eagles D look like a middle school defense that Dak couldn't move the ball against.
See I can cherry pick examples too
In some minds he's already passed Aikman and Staubach. And the Romo legend grows....
Romo isn't better than Dak right now because he can't stay healthy. Hasn't played a full season since 2014. And he would have got killed yesterday.Romo should still be the starting QB for the Cowboys. I believe it would have been best for the team in the short-term, and also best for Dak in the long-term. Romo is better than Dak right now when healthy, and had he gotten injured again, then you always have Dak ready anyway. But Romo had been through his growing pains, and he was way overdue for some real success. Dak meanwhile is just at the beginning of his growing pains, and riding the bench for a couple seasons behind Romo might have been more beneficial for Dak in terms of not having to learn everything the hard way. We had the best QB situation in the entire NFL and we totally screwed it up.
