Respectfully disagree. Good teams can overcome. The Pats went 12-4 with all the Brady legal issues (plastered all over the media) in 2015 which went on for an entire year. Then went 3-1 without him with to begin last season. The team still has to play as a unit despite one single player's issues.

I'm not going to bad mouth the goat coach or QB, but that 3-1 was against some embarrassingly bad teams. I was at the Houston game, and that Houston team couldn't have beaten my high school team that day. They lost the only even remotely difficult game to Buffalo 16-0. Not to say we'd have gone 0-4 as this staff has proven they cannot beat even the worst teams without every cylinder firing perfectly.

As far as the 12-4, that proves something I wish this team had, the us vs. them mentality. It could be perception, but I don't get that from this current team. This massive distraction seems to make a team like ours fatigued, while a team like the Pats get fired up over it.

Some athletes and teams get better when presented with adversity, some don't perform as well. Is this what others have said about Zeke being a front runner? I don't totally agree given the substantial differences in the accusations, but there might be some meat on the bone here. Brady was seen as just trying to get a competitive edge (rubbing is racing), while Zeke is accused of being a heinous person.

With all due respect, you're wrong. Zeke will serve the 6 games per the CBA, it's just a matter of when. Once all the appeals are exhausted, he'll miss 6 games.
You are blind to how this has now changed. You cannot bargain away a basic right like fundamental fairness. Goodell and company thought that the cba gave them the ability to do what they want to whoever they want when they want. That is simply not true.

VERY generally speaking, liberal judges tend to favor labor unions and conservative judges tend to favor management is what i've been reading, but i haven't even slept at a holiday inn express recently.

Don't believe everything you read.

I could say some judges are more likely to rule according to the law, and others are more likely to abdicate their duty and rule based on what they want, but this isn't the place to get into that.

Judges all the time ignore the law and try and make one up or whatever because of what they want to have happen. That is why there are appeals courts and the SCOTUS.

I'm aware. Appeals courts and SCOTUS do it too.

problem is when SCOTUS gets it wrong there if very little anyone can do about it. I mean in the past they thought the Fugitive Slave Law and Segregation were acceptable.

I think you are still believing that this article 46 will take precedence in this case, but in reality 3 judges have already questioned the fundamental fairness of Zeke's case. This last judge flat out said the NFL is mistaken if they believe that the results of Brady's case gave them absolute power to disregard fairness. I predict Zeke will prevail here personally.

I think 4 judges actually brought up the fundamental fairness issue, including two in the 5th CA. However, one of those judges ruled against Zeke on the jurisdiction issue.

You know the case. So let’s pay attention to what judges rule which way. So far all the rulings have been along party lines. Except from Judge Crotty.

I don't see it being along "party lines" at all. Unless you have a misconception about what the "party lines" value.

Each of the judges that have ruled have been appointed by one of the two political parties in America. All have ruled according to usual ideological loyalties. Except one.

These are norms that are well known.

Brady lost 2-1 and he did not have close to the case that Zeke has. With all due respect - you're wrong!

See, I can do that too, does not mean I am right, just means I have an opinion or that I am a blowhard know it all!

Like I said, unless you have a misconception. One that is based on what is "well known."

I’m simply stating that many of us know the circumstances of this case and of the arbitration.
Based on that, pay attention to what judges rule what way and form your own opinions about the judges, their rulings, and the case.

There’s really nothing to misconceive.

The misconception is what some consider well "known." But again this isn't the place for that discussion.

The analysis you suggest is suspect as well. Even if there was a split, and if it happened to align with who appointed them, it does not suggest that the groups favor certain plaintiffs over others. It could suggest one side is more inclined to rule based on law (as is their job), and the other based on what they want. Or it could be that there is no split at all.

All of the judges so far have not been ruling on the same legal issues either.
