Oh you mean because the defense got to sit a whole bunch when the offense was on the field.

They were also below average in just about every other statistic, but I doubt you care.

It was a top 5 scoring defense.. it allowed the fifth least amount of points of any team.. that’s how.. it’s in pro referenced stats.. they also were 16th the year before, when our offense was 31st..

Saying they completely suck is just an excuse to avoid blaming the offense for any of the losses.


You know how you win? You prevent scoring more than your own offense, irrespective of other stats.. Marinelli is bend don’t break, so yards don’t necessarily tell the whole story.

But pretend this game is the exception to the rule. People know better.

I don’t get why some of you guys can’t admit Wentz is pretty good. I can’t stand Philly but I’m not blind. Dak is a nice little gem to have that works in this system but overall Wentz has a hell of a lot more upside.

BS go back and watch the 2nd half vs the rams. Dak was absolutely horrible. Vs GB he choose to throw a horrible incompletion on 2nd and 1 inside the 10 yard line which gave GB an extra 40 seconds. It was a Run /pass option and he chose to throw it. Only a young dumb QB would do something like that vs Rodgers. The defense only gave up 28 points vs a scary GB offense. That should be good enough to win.

The only stat that matters is how often teams scored against them when they were actually playing, and how it compares to other teams. Anything else is just someone who doesn't know what numbers mean or just wants to try and make a really stupid point.

Dude, one QB clearly has a bigger arm and ability to make every throw. You can't teach this, which is why Wentz was a first round pick. If you want to talk about the mental aspect, that's what could separate them, but Wentz clearly has bigger upside and a higher ceiling.

Not admitting this is just ridiculous and you're better than that.

We needed 35 points to win not 29. Nobody in their right mind would ever say giving up 28.....34 points is a good defense showing. You are delusional
