They are 5-1 and we are 3-3.

Our Remaining schedule

@ Commanders

Chiefs

@ Falcons

Eagles

Chargers

Commanders

@ Giants

@ Raiders

Seahawks

@ Eagles

Absolutely brutal schedule and we are sitting at 3-3.

Eagles have

9ers

Broncos

@ Cowboys

Bears

So just those 4 games alone will most likely give them another game of separation even if we beat them.

Then the last 5 we have some hope.

3 games on the road..

@ Seahawks

@ Rams

@ Giants (they will fold at this point. Easy win)

Raiders

Cowboys

FYI...............this season is the PERFECT example of how strength of schedule is so important. An easy schedule can get you off to a good start and get you on a roll. A tough schedule and a few injuries and suspensions and you are already behind the 8 ball. Dallas had the Easy schedule last year and it paid off. But when they got to the playoffs what happened?

I think the Eagles are a good team, but I am not willing to say that they are much better then us or even better at this point. But they will probably win the East.

Yep.

If we were 4-2 then I would like our chances a lot more but the schedule is about to bite us and help them tremendously

They will most likely be 8-2 and we will most likely be 5-5. 6-4 at best.

The Rams game hurt us so bad.

Now we need Philly to slip up somewhere.. Maybe Denver? But Denver isn't a good road team.

They are better than us.

The difference in defenses alone is stark. Now maybe down the road our defense will start playing much better but right now, the Eagles are a better team than us because they have a legit NFL Top 7ish defense and we have a defense that, at times, looks like a Pee Wee football defense.

I agree with everything.

The eagles only play two teams with a good offense the remainder of the season

Dallas
Seattle

So i expect them to be 13-3 or 12-4

The Eagles are this year where we were last year - in the drivers seat. They have to maintain the pace like we did. The schedule clearly favors them. And of course they have the better D while last year we had the better O. I think our O is still better if not by a huge margin; but they outclass our D as it is now.

So in all likelihood baring something happening they will win the Division and we will be looking at the Wildcard. Which is not all that bad- winning the division lately has not done much for us in the postseason has it?

The book on Cousins played out perfectly last night. He looked good for a while then faded when he needed to come through. I was completely let down. Most disappointing was his inability to recognize a blitz and check to a quick pass. Instead he holds the ball tooooooo long.

I credit the Eagles D more than their O. Commanders defense just ran out of gas.

Oakland could be an interesting game for them depending on which Oakland shows up that night.

If they really have all these OL issues (based on last night's rash of injuries), with our newly found pass rush we should be able to make Cousins make some poor decisions with the ball.

This game is pretty close to a must win IMO.

Jesus Christ .......certainly wouldn't want some our fans with me in an alley fight (LOL). Over 35+ plus years of watching to NFL, I've seen enough to know just a game has two halves, so does a season. With 9-10 games left and only out of first place, no way in hell I'm conceding the division to the Beagles. Anything can happen.......look at the Packers. How you tell your player, well guys we only playing for a wildcard coz Beagles ALREADY have the division locked up. IMO as of today........we have just as much chance at the division as the Beagles coz at some point they're going hit a bump, they always do.

BTW.......the first team to force them to win with their running game will beat em.

Yes, if Wentz gets hurt and is out for the year, we have a shot. But if your plans for winning the division revolve around their best player getting hurt, that's really telling about their divisional title chances.

And no, we don't have as much of a chance at the division as the Eagles. They have a 2 game lead, an easier 2nd half schedule, are already 3-0 in the division with a sweep of the Skins, etc.

Impossible? No. Improbable? Yeah.

Jason Peters out for the season. Big blow for the Eagles.

Jordan Hicks also out for the season.

They were optimistic on Peters this morning thinking it was just a MCL injury.

That's a big blow. They'll probably eventually move Lane Johnson to LT.

Hicks is another blow as he was a very good MLB, especially in pass coverage. Their backups stink.

They might win the East. I truly believe they'll get their ***** kicked IF they meet a hot Atlanta or go to Seattle. If they do get to the SB, they'll be heavy underdogs against a Pittsburgh or NE. To make a long story short, no NFCE teams are any real threat/ Chance to win a SB.

I agree the NFC is weaker.

Lane at LT is not a guaranteed fix, and if they do then Big V will have to play RT and he gets abused constantly. Jason Peters was greatly underappreciated by analysts and his loss is huge.
