Sources: Cowboys’ Randy Gregory could delay reinstatement bid

The Fuzz has entered the building...

I finished the Dumas Club last week or so. I got irritated by the pedantic belaboring of Dumas but then it had the plot twist that put it into perspective. Downright magnificent story construction. I have not been that emotionally satisfied from a plot in a long long time.

No its not. You don't wake up one morning with an addiction like you could with a real disease. It's like saying crashing your car into a telephone pole is a disease.
I love how one of you posters equated "self medicating" with getting stoned.
If I didn't read this crap with my own eyes I'd never believe someone would really write this stuff.

You can argue the semantics so you can withhold compassion or sympathy all you like but the AMA, APA, etc considers it a disease. You can willfully contract all manner of diseases.

And marijuana has therapeutic uses. If it helps Gregory deal with anxiety then it is what it is. Personally I will smoke over taking benzos and the like that are peddled by pharma any day. Have you seen someone withdraw from xanax?

So true about the lull... but damn: Good story!
You ever tried reading House of Leaves by Poe's brother? The singer Poe, not Edgar Allen.
She even made an album, like a soundtrack to his novel while her career was briefly hot. Hey Pretty is a single that got attention and is a direct passage from his book.

An award-winning National Geographic photographer moves into a new house and decides to set up cams everywhere tp document his family's life (this was before reality TV was going on) and he discovers that his house is 5 centimeters longer on the inside, upon taking measurements.

So he calls upon his National Geographic friends and correspondents to investigate.

But that's only a third of the story... The book literally tries to drive you mad.

Give it a go.

The AMA is dead wrong about this. If marijuana has therapeutic uses than let the mental heath clinics or doctors prescribe it in pill form. I've known many Xanax users and none of them ever had to withdraw from them. They took them according to their doctors orders .

Just free him, bruh.

It’s weed, man.

What is this, 1960?
Why are you yelling at the choir?
I am merely looking at the root problem that leads to the medication, being weed.
I'm an avid lover of the medicine and use quite daily, with zero shame.

The guy has an issue and uses the Green Muse as something of a mitigating factor to his brain fluctuations.
He's already seeing progress and working a day job and moving to normal, societal interaction.

I just wish the NFL would look upon their Draconian rules and set their eyes on studies and do things that are right...
But then they might just have to look at what Collisions and CTE do from High School to kids and shut ish down.

Huh...

The fact he may be delaying his request sure seems like bad news. Hope there hasn't been some kind of relapse. I just want to see him give himself a chance to set himself up for life. It is sad seeing these guys that have a chance to change their entire families' fortune blow it.

I won't argue with you.

Free the man and smoke out the choir. Woot

Damn... I should inquire how much it would cost to adapt this effer.
This is something people could get into, for a genuine scare that's not blood and guts.

Like At The Mouth of Madness...

Smoke out the choir and everyone is either free, or trapped in a moment.
Makes me think of Kingsmen... but opposite the results of that infamous church scene.

Colin Firth would be spilling the beans about his most hurtful pains and the rest of the congregation would be all tears and laughter at the same time.
Good jokes and commiseration would be all too prevalent.

That Mary Juwanna is so terrible!

Lorazepam is no walk in the park either.

That stuff...
Garbage.

I was... Hmmm... You will never put that stuff in my system again.
Might as well call them roofies.

I should have sued that General Practitioner, all those years ago.
