Anthony Brown. Time to demote him

Anthony Brown's problems are not from a skills perspective, I believe he has all the tools to be a pretty consistent contributor on this football team. His primary issue is his propensity to get caught looking inside which is a correctible habit with the proper coaching.

I didn't think he played all that bad yesterday. When he had problems it was usually due to bad footing. My issue with him this year has been his inability to fight off blocks and he's been in so much fear of the corner route that he was giving up the easy slant (but again, lousy scheme and lousy MIKE plays a role in this as well).

He seemed to be much better yesterday outside of the bad footing and he really doesn't get thrown at a lot so he's doing some things right.

We'll get a better idea against the Chiefs because Reid usually picks a target and goes after that target constantly.

No one on our team or many others can cover Hill 1-1. Brown and Lewis will cover Hill with safety help over the top all game. The bigger question is can Jones cover Kelce 1-1. And can we keep Smith in the pocket so he doesn't kill us with his scrambling.

Problem is Heath is a day late and a dollar short time after time...after time

Yeah. He's struggling.

Although in fairness, that last PI on him was an awful call.

Disagree.. he made it too easy for the ref. Just turn around and understand situational football. His technique was horrific.. touching and grabbing and NOT TURNING AROUND. Weak call but he made it questionable and thus got the flag. He was a huge liability yesterday.

Watch it again....he was turned around looking at the ball. How the ref missed Doctson yanking Brown's chest and throwing him to the ground is beyond me.

Sit him for whom exactly. Prime Time is not walking through that door and if he did, we'd have to name him toast at this age.

He has struggled but who's a better option? Awuzie can't get on the field. Some fans want Woods to get more playing time but he can't tackle. The entire secondary is struggling

Yes Doctson did get away with a tug. I watched it clearly with the broadcast several times. Initially while the ball was in the air, Brown WAS NOT turned around and jostling with the WR with his hand/arm. He turned around but it was really late. Not egregious but understand it's 4th and 10. You've got to be sound.

Brown and Collins have taken a step back their 2nd year. Still good players but they haven't progressed.

Yeah. That doesn't mean that they need to be ditched or demoted, but they certainly seem to be playing worse than they did last year.

I am concerned that Taco will regress next year too. It will be his second year and he will be primed for a drop off.

Brown needs to get his stuff together, but we have said the same about TNew and he's 87 years old still in the league.

Collin's isn't really a 1-tech, he will have to really put in some work to be there long term. But with Pea retiring and Irving being better at the 3-tech, we have no choice.

BTW, Irving is better there just so you know.

Honestly, I think our best bet would be to have Scandrick cover Hill.

That's a horrible mismatch. They'll just send hm deep. Honestly there are bad matchups everywhere facing KC's offense. The only advantage is our DL vs their OL.

Taco.....a drop off from what??

I wasn't aware he did anything to drop off from.

fans of this team give up on everybody.

Must be because so many of you are boycotting and not watching the other games around the league.

He got burned deep by Ryan Grant on a play where he literally started 12 yards off the ball. Just because we don't have better options doesnt mean he's not a cruddy player.

You have to give it to the naysayers this time. Brown has definitely taken a step back but, I believe a lot of it has
to do with the defensive scheme. The Cowboys do an awful job of playing zone in the secondary. They have for years and
continue too. The switching back from zone to man is also causing lots of problems for all the secondary. There were times
on the field when confusion reigned yesterday. This sit back 10 yards from the line of scrimmage and play zone is just asking
QB's to pick us apart. Actually, we were playing better man last year than this year and it's showing by us not getting off the field
on 3rd down. Especially early in games, we are much too passive in the secondary and that includes the LB's.

He's not a cruddy player. I have always been concerned about guys running go routes on him going back to last year.

However he has proven to be a reliable guy and a good player.

Half of the people complaining think he gave up the earlier big play where he was in zone. That is where a lot of this comes from.

people can scream all they want, brown is going nowhere and is a good player.
