Richard Sherman would have been out of the league if he played for the Cowboys. They would call him on every play.

There is no doubt in my military mind that would be the case, and I'm not even in the military.

Jason Garrett is regressing too....I've been noticing that his clapping is lacking it's 4.3 speed due to the tendonitis in his fingers.

The solution is to draft a CB early-mid rd every year, because once a CB gets acclimated with the Cowboys DB culture they start to regress. Unfortunately we need to find replacements for Lewis and Awuzie next year because they too will start to regress next season.
God, no.

LBers, Safety and DT need fixing.

Brown is a grabber. The NFL ref's get film each week and they see the calls they should have made. His reputation precedes him so even when he doesn't grab the guy, or it was mutual like with the Josh Doctson play he was flagged on, the ref's are going to call it on Brown. It's like a great baseball hitter like Wade Boggs taking a strike, the Ump assumes he's right.

I told you all last year that he has bad instincts and grabs whenever he gets into trouble. That's very hard to coach out of a DB. He's not a starting CB and some of you are slowly finding that out.

In fairness to Red Ball it is hard to keep up with that pace. You always eventually regress toward the mean. He set an unsustainable pace early on and you guys are spoiled with his exceptional early performance.

You told us last year and now you've confirmed your own analysis.

I need to get my all-22 subscription back.

I haven't noticed Brown being overly bad on the broadcast.
Me either.....he's had a few painful penalties but yesterday....I've seen guys get away with worse.. I want my corner to play physical like that.

Disagree.. he made it too easy for the ref. Just turn around and understand situational football. His technique was horrific.. touching and grabbing and NOT TURNING AROUND. Weak call but he made it questionable and thus got the flag. He was a huge liability yesterday.
They were both handfighting and grabbing. could've gone either way or just a no call.

He's not a cruddy player

That is YOUR opinion. My opinion = you can throw and have success on his side of the field on every single play. Only reason this isn't the case is because our LB's outside of Lee and our secondary outside of Lewis can't cover anybody either. Without our DL stepping up this would absolutely be a bloodbath out there.

I wish I could see roses every time I turn on the game. Brown is a PI machine and all your sunshine pumping posts won't change that. Never mind that Brown is getting flagged and beat more this year.

Brown definitely has hit a sophomore slump or is just getting exposed for who he really is.
Ended last regular season on a good note, but this year he has been too slow to react and uses his hands too much.

Agree. He grabs on every play, and is getting into the Dave Campo. Dog chase cat DB technique where you never look back for the ball....

Well, if Awuzie can't get on the field anytime soon, what's the knock on Benwikere again? Other than he sucks too.

To be fair to Brown (who has been underwhelming), he can't play corner and safety at the same time. Usually when separation was involved, it was a deep route, and Heath was nowhere to be found.
