I know! And personally, I wouldn't really miss it... We used to wonder, how could football ever go the way of horse-racing, which used to be one of the most popular sports at the turn of the 20th century? Now we know... The NFL wont die tomorrow, but it just took decades off its lifespan.

Maybe there are less talented QB's in the NFL, but that's not the only criteria. Kap just simply isn't good enough to justify the media circus he would bring to any team who signed him as a backup QB.

Terrell Owens was a much much better player than Kap, but the circus he brought with him was not worth it to most teams, and that's for a HOF type talent. Kap brings a political viewpoint and way of delivering said viewpoint that is polarizing to a fanbase. It's his own fault he's unsigned...

Roger dat. He's been the cancer of the nfl for quite sometime now. Had he put a stop to this kneeling thing when it first started (as the MLB, NBA Commish' have done), the NFL wouldn't be self imploding.
The good side of this mess it that the NFL owner's are finally seeing that Rogers needs to go. Hopefully it's not too late.

Kaepernick threw 16 TDs vs 4 Interceptions last season for a 91 QB rating.

He also ran for 2 TDs.

I'd hardly call those "trash" stats, especially considering how poor the 49ers offensive players have been.

From a pure football perspective, I'd say he is talented enough to be QB2 or QB3 on nearly every team in the NFL.
