Aikman is a total league sellout

Aikman and Buck are painful to watch anymore...

Moose Johnston is a far better and more impartial colour analyst than Aikman...and Rome is leap years ahead of Aikman..

I feel bad for Moose as he has been demoted and seems to be doing the worst match ups each week.

Screw Aikman. Early on, he was constantly trying to take things away from Dak.

Perfect example:
The Falcons jumped offside, and Dak had a free play. He threw it up, and it got intercepted. Aikman was like "I don't think Dak even saw the flag, so that was a huge break for him."

Like, gtfoh Troy. Dak looked to his right, where the flag was on the ground. He knew what was up. Even if he didn't, why go so far out of your way to discredit him? I'd rather listen to Theismann.

I really don't like his style as a color commentator. It's kinda boring, as he always speaks in mono tone. Even Chris Collinsworth and John Gruden bring more enthusiasm, when breaking down a play. Love Aikman the man/player though.

The comments about play are fine, but he took a shot at Jerry as regards to the lawsuit and said the NFL product is just great.

He became a world-class scrub last night.

I don't think he was just talking about Jerry, but the ENTIRE situation. It sounded like he thinks the outside distractions are impacting the game.

Which....is what many here agree with. The Aikman hate here, as a person and commentator, is just really weird to me. Some of the stuff people said they heard didn't even happen or is exaggerated in great lengths.

You guys continue to say he bashes the Cowboys hard - again, go back to the 2015 game against the Eagles and listen to how he mocked the heck out of the Eagles in that game. Saying it was embarrassing to watch them.

Troy can be blunt at times, but it's not just to the Cowboys. He's a color commentator, his job is to point out good and bad play and give his analysis.

Tune into more Fox games - apparently, you guys still only watch the boys.

I have always liked Moose ... but, of course I don't remember him doing any Cowboy games, so I do not know how that would go. Romo's first Cowboy game was excellent.

I'm thinking the video of Romo last week in the booth would have shown a lot of fist-pumping "yeahs".

The people who don't like Aikman will eventually turn on Romo, too.

Troy was a key part of 3 Super Bowl wins. I couldn't care less about how he comments on a penalty during a broadcast.

Only part I didn't care for was not calling out the two Dak face masks/blows to the head "no calls". Thought those should have been mentioned

My wife said “ I don’t care, but does he ever say anything good about the Cowboys”?

Any compliment he makes about Dallas is half hearted or backhanded.

The beauty of this thread is that you can see more people are actually more upset with Aikman than they are with the fact we have a mediocre head coach, a front office that continue to botch FA, a team that seems to be trending towards another missed playoff season, etc.

Now that's funny.

How do you measure that? Wouldn’t you need a joint thread asking everyone which they disliked the most?

They aren’t mutually exclusive. We can not like Troy, not like the officials, not like Garrett, not like the front office, not like isis, and not like some posters at the same time.

We would need a poll to determine which fit where in the not like hierarchy.

If you couldn't hear the difference between his antagonistic calling of this game and how Romo handled himself last week, you must be deaf, and dumb. Aikman is as bad as anyone. I don't buy this "he can't be a homer" crap. His calling of this game and comments about the NFL and the Cowboys was so far off mark. How he can show himself at any Cowboy function from here on out is beyond me. I think the multiple concussions are taking a toll on him.
He's been like this for years

He actually said it in the context of Jerry Jones doing what he is doing right now with the lawsuit and it being a distraction.. he’s obviously justifying Goodell’s ‘work’ as reason it shouldn’t be happening..

Troy has been hating for years now. He is terrible to listen too as a fan.

But he's taken it up about 5 notches. It's stupid.

It's never bothered me before but now him trying to not be biased and made him completely biased the other way.

The team stunk it up and Troy called it as he saw it.

Does he go overboard sometime to kiss up to Giants and Philly fans while trying his best to nitpick Dallas at times?
Yes. And I can't stand when he does that.

But no amount of lipstick is making that pig of a game look good vs Atlanta.
