His Superbowl wins with us have nothing to do with us liking his booth abilities, and yeah I see a few here still throwing out the "well he has to be nuetral" crap talk again. Well apart from him going totally the other way, it is to the point of buttkissing. Kind of annoying.

You who disagree can cling on what he did for us 20+ years ago, but me I would rather he not be in the booth

Really people if you watched this team play yesterday how you can be whining about a announcer is beyond me.

I'm not a player, and I have no control over the team or what they do.
So, I can whine about things like this. As a fan, I can focus on whatever and it won't matter.

If you couldn't hear the difference between his antagonistic calling of this game and how Romo handled himself last week, you must be deaf, and dumb. Aikman is as bad as anyone. I don't buy this "he can't be a homer" crap. His calling of this game and comments about the NFL and the Cowboys was so far off mark. How he can show himself at any Cowboy function from here on out is beyond me. I think the multiple concussions are taking a toll on him.
In light of what happened on the field (including the bench, I'm talking to you Garrett) it seems that complaining about the announcing would be a low priority.

He's honestly terrible in the booth. He brings absolutely no insight to the games. Romo calls stuff out and points outs specific things. Aikman doesn't seem to see anything not completely obvious to the average fan. He never breaks stuff down. I guess Fox likes the steadiness of he and Buck. Buck is ok for what he does. Aikman is terrible.

If the team were doing it, sure.
But, we're fans. Our focus has no impact on the games. So who cares.

He's paid to call the games and provide insight on how the game is unfolding. Not stand tall and support his former organization when calling their games. He provides insight good or bad and there is nothing wrong with that and it is not a slight on the organization....imo.....not like he can sit there and say well Joe...they are trying and you know this is great organization...with a storied history..teeter totter organization since 95...hard to put a positive spin on that.

His giggling like a school girl every time the Cowboys make a mistake is a little annoying, but we're stuck with Troy and Buck. They're the #1 broadcasters at Fox and the Cowboys are the #1 draw.

Well like Dickerson glad noone has broken his records, I do believe Aikman, unlike Emmitt and Irvin.....gets some satisfaction that we haven't won a ring since he left.

But maybe that's just me.

I’ve gotten use to his way of calling Cowboys games. However, his comments regarding the Goodell extension and his shot at Jerry surprised me. It was not needed and he could have avoided it all together. But, there he was again, following Joe Buck’s lead.

Which says a lot about you.

What exactly? I’m not a fan of his. Actually I’m not a fan of most announcers, I understand the game enough that I don’t need it explained to me.

I also prefer to watch the game in solidarity. Many things annoy me during a football game.

Troy did his job. He even went out and blasted Green. PPl need to stop getting in your feeling because the Cowboys lost. If you didn't like Troy wait until Sunday night against Philly.

That did annoy me. They don’t need to voice their opinion on everything.

I think he is one of the best in the business and for those that complain about him I will say three things...

Just as many of those that complain about him being biased against the cowboys, there are just as many fans of other teams that says he is biased FOR the cowboys.

For those that hate him for not being a Homer, it is not his job to be a homer and he is far from being a hater. It just goes to show how sensitive some are on here that makes you
think he is a hater.

If he broadcast playing a Super Homer role like the Playmaker you would love him, however if someone from another team did the same thing for their team you would hate it.

Aikman does a good job, he has always taken a professional stance towards his job and that is why he is so highly thought of among his peers...because he does a good job.

What annoyed me was his constant refusal to mention we were missing zeke, but kept talking about the loss of freeman for the falcons.

I think he is afraid to say anything positive about the Cowboys with Joe Buck around. When Buck is off doing the baseball games and Troy does a Cowboys game it is much more tolerable. I honestly don't know how Buck is still employed. He is a crappy announcer. I hate how deflated he is when the Cowboys score a TD but if we give one up or even give up a sack it's like the most amazing thing in the world. I seriously want to punch him directly in the face.

The comments about play are fine, but he took a shot at Jerry as regards to the lawsuit and said the NFL product is just great.

He became a world-class scrub last night.

AIkman is great in the booth. You want him to pull out Cowboys Pom-poms????
It’s still too early for me to judge Romo in the booth, his voice is a major annoyance I’m trying to look past....
