Philly lost their starting RB, LT, and MLB as well

Sproles wasnt going to carry the load. We lost alot more than "one." Not making excuses for our coaching but you are minimizing our loses. We were without our best offensive and defensive player last week, along with the leagues best LT. But yeah, the coaches sucked I agree.

Sproles is still a stud and can do so many things including punt returns. Peters is right there neck and neck with Tyron as well.

What I find funny is Pederson and JG are similar. Both longtime backup QB's. Then QB coaches and neither had called plays until they became HC's. Yet one had years of experience and a great teacher. The other given something before earning anything.

We lost the "only". Key positions to our identity.

And that is set up by design.

We have systems set up where only one talent can do it.

That is a bad way to run a team. Then you are really just hoping everything is perfect all the time.

Actually, you are making excuses.

You are making a huge excuse for them.

Not on a microlevel, but certainly on a macrolevel when you look at how a team is constructed and the schematic things they are asked to execute.

Just be honest with yourself for a second.

Sproles is not an true all-pro player. Being a return specialist doesn’t count. People will say anything to prove a point.

If you don't think Sproles is a freaking stud dude you need to stick to tennis or something. He is a 3 time all pro player in fact. He's older now, but he's still a player. None of that was my point anyway....the point is they lost these players and keep going and winning. They don't fall apart and make excuses. Next man up actually works in Philly.

Peters and Sproles are for sure and Hicks was the Cowboy Killer so go watch The Voice or something huh?
You know there's an actual All Pro team? And all three of the Cowboys were on it while none of the Eagles were? Because I kind of agree with the gist of your post but none of those guys are equal to their counterparts on Dallas and saying so and saying that they're All Pros when they're not kind of defeats the argument. And even then you're ignoring quality of opponent which I'd say was a substantial factor as well.

Take the eagles 3 best players besides the QB off the team and tell me how they turn out. I’m not even sure the eagles have 3 all-pro players so really there is zero comparison

That's just not being honest...of course there is a comparison. The Eagles lost their best o-lineman, their best LB, their best CB, and arguably their best RB (at the time).

The eagles front office didn’t crap the bed this past off season.

This past off season was a massive failure of epic proportions. They had a 13-3 team and did NOTHING to improve it This season.

In fact the team took steps back this off-season.

Prime example—- our team can’t stop the run when Sean Lee is out. That’s why our defense sucks.

Over the past 5 seasons who was our defenses second best run defender, behind Lee? The answer is Barry Church and he is gone.

The eagles are a more well rounded and talented team. Their 53 is better than the cowboys 53 overall. The cowboys are too top heavy.
