That's just not being honest...of course there is a comparison. The Eagles lost their best o-lineman, their best LB, their best CB, and arguably their best RB (at the time).
Lol you’re arms must hurt from all that reaching you’re doing. They don’t have 3 all- pro players so you can’t compare it. You really gonna sit here and try to compare sproles to the leading rusher in the league from last year, old Jason peters to smith, and Hicks, who hasn’t been to a single pro bowl or any sort of all pro team to Lee, who’s been to 2 pro bowls and was selected 1st team all pro last year.

They lost and aging quarterback, middle of the road linebacker and a has been left tackle, not three all pros from a year ago.

Has been LT was just an All Pro last year....... and Tyron has a bad back. That's still not the point. It's the fact that we fall apart with injuries because our coaches suck and the FO doesn't stock our team with quality depth.

Sproles to Zeke...of course not
Hicks to Lee...not yet but he is a stud LB, just much younger.
Peters to Smith..hell yes I'll compare them. Peters is a HoFer.
They also lost Darby...their best CB in week 1.

Listen, one can argue the Cowboys injuries are worse overall, that's fine. But to say they are not comparable is just plain wrong. That would be the reach. Any time a team loses their best player in 4 position groups, it's huge.

Are those 3 all-pro players like the cowboys are. Because if they not then there is no comparison. Good try tho

Yeah Peters, Hicks and Sproles are just a dime a dozen guys. LOL.

The fact is they lost three very important players and have adapted. We lose three important players and the entire house caves in.

But keep trying to rationalize away our coaching shortcomings.

We lost the "only". Key positions to our identity.

And that is set up by design.

We have systems set up where only one talent can do it.

That is a bad way to run a team. Then you are really just hoping everything is perfect all the time.

Actually, you are making excuses.

You are making a huge excuse for them.

Not on a microlevel, but certainly on a macrolevel when you look at how a team is constructed and the schematic things they are asked to execute.

Just be honest with yourself for a second.

Lol your riddiculous. Ive said all day long on here that our coaching was crap and we made zero adjustments. Yall dont have to exaggerate to make your point. We lost more than "one," thats a damn fact.

I guess on some type of macro micro miny whatever level saying our coaches sucked isnt enough to adequately express how I feel our coaches SUCKED.

WOW just wow. You need to check your facts. Who's the "aging quarterback" Typo? This doesn't really deserve a response as many of your counterparts will tell you the deal. But just to reiterate. Lost for the season: Best Olineman and LT, best LB and MLB (the QB of the defense) best RB AND one of the best punt returners in the league. These were all heart and soul guys too.
Also lost our best CB at a time when out defensive backfield was a big question mark. Rasul Douglas and Patrick Robinson have stepped up big time. We get Darby back for the Cowboys.
Also, lost our kicker and plucked Elliot of of the Bengals PS.

Zeke is not Sproles but we actually miss his punt returning more so it's like losing 2 players, but all the others a VERY comparable. And we lost them for the WHOLE YEAR not just a game or 2.

Times your.

Yeah really.

They lost their best TB, their best OL, their best LB and also their best CB. Four key players they were counting on to help them win this year. Now if you want to say Lee is better than Hicks, go right ahead but the more important point is Hicks was their best LB by far and he's gone and they have adapted. Peters may not be as good as Smith but he also was one of their best OL. They adapted.

Now you may want to rationalize all this to defend Garrett but the reality is they lose four very, very important players and are still winning.

Jason Peters was named SI's All Pro mid season LT last week and Jordan Hicks is a pro bowl LBer and was having a fantastic year. You cant compare Sproles to Zeek though. Yours are all coming back though. Peters and Hicks were playing tremendous this year.

You seem to have a pretty decent head on your shoulders so I am stunned you are part of the Garrett brigade.
Garrett is a good coach. And he's turned this roster into a top heavy and underperforming roster to a top heavy roster that performs and has developing youth.

People keep pointing to the overnight success stories in the NFL to discredit Garrett.... But tell me which and how many teams have won the superbowl over his tenure? How many were rags to riches in a way that's comparable to some of the praise being heaped on rams and eagles coaching staffs?

It's hard as hell to win in the NFL when you get into a one and done situation. Even if you're really good.

And the criticisms don't past muster. Oh our offenses suck and aren't original! Then we finish with another top 5 performance. Oh we abandon the run! Zeke or some other RB finishes with 20+ carries. Oh we suck at game management! Last year we won most of our one score games.

Just reactionary nonsense.

Had this argument with dumb *** eagle fans

Sproles is a special teams player
Jordan hicks is nice but he’s not all pro
Jason Peters was great but he’s old.

It’s not comparable

It is comparable cause Peters was playing better then any LT in the NFL and Hicks is just one of those stars without name recognition. Don't forget we lost our #1 CB, are ST captain too. Obviously Zeek is waaaaay better then Sproles but Sproles does so much for this team. Returns kicks and is a fabulous 3rd down back. We lost a crap ton of talent.
