Romo's body gave out on him. Romo couldn't even take a normal hit anymore. It's ridiculous to even want him to play anymore and put him at risk for further damage. How come you're not upset Dak to Kellen Moore's job? He was leaped frog by Dak as well.

Wrong.

Romo never got injured on a "normal" hit.

Not enough time to decide if the LB is going to blitz or drop into zone to defend the slant, he went to the only person in clear single coverage.

Easy to question the decision after the fact but if that's a pick 6, everyone is saying he should have gone to Dez.

Dak obviously didn't have a good game, but this play isn't why we lost.

Beasely should have been the first read, so there was time. Dak didn't see it. It's pretty simple.

He led the only scoring drive against the Eagles in that last game and made it look easy. The last injury he got was not a normal hit. He had a huge lineman fall on him in a sitting position. Most people aren't going to escape from that unscathed. I'm not upset about Moore because when he played he was terrible and Dak was clearly better. Remember it however you want but Dak wasn't and still is not a better QB than Romo.

If he thought he could still take a hit physically then I think he would’ve taken the first call whenever a team needed a QB. I’m sure teams have inquired. Houston would have made a lot of sense. Romo was a great QB, a second to none type of competitor, but he did the right thing to hang it up as much as it hurt him and his fans that he had to so abruptly

If the Cowboys would have let him compete for the job, he'd still be a Cowboy today. He wanted to play, but he didn't want to play for another team.

How come everyone says "get over Romo" but every time Dak stinks it up those same people say well Romo did too.

Romo ain't here - Dak is. and Dak had a chance to lead this team without Zeke and he has stunk it up. That performance against the Eagles was horrible. The team ran well and blocked ok it was the QB who failed.

Either someone ran the wrong route or this is the dumbest play design I've seen in awhile. Why are 3 receivers within 5yards of each other at the end of their routes?

There is literally no space for Dak throw the pass into. I don't think even Aikman could have completed that pass while being under a heavy blitz .

No, that play worked exactly as designed and that is where Dak is supposed to throw the ball. The problem is the play demands a WR that can get separation. It is designed to get the one on one matchup but the WR has to beat his man. Watch it again. There is no fake, no double move, no nothing designed to create a little separation. The WR just runs straight to the defender and weakly cuts to the pylon. High school safeties could cover that route run that way by any WR without 4.4 speed. That's all coaching or lack of effort. Whichever it is doesn't matter. It's a perfect example of why this team will never win with Garrett as coach.
