I believe the team is going to play lights out football...not because of Garret and the coaching staff but because Zeke is back.....I dont believe this coaching staff can do any more for this team then they have already given and shown. We may have gone 13-3 last year but it was a last place schedule....We get first rate schedule like this year and BAM! we hangin on by a threat to make the playoffs....

If Atlanta loses out (they have the toughest remaining schedule in the NFL facing New Orleans and Carolina), a 9-7 team could get in. But Cowboys can't win the tiebreaker in that scenario I don't believe.

Atlanta won't lose out because the Week 17 game won't matter to Carolina after they beat the Bucs this week.

@TwoDeep3 is right, we are probably out. But not because we lost to the Raiders. We're out because of a fluke year with bad teams that have resulted in too many teams with double-digit wins. But if the team does make the playoffs, it is going to the Superbowl. This is a different team with Zeke.

Our playoffs have started early. Each team we play has something to lose. Last week it was Oakland, now they are out. Next up is Seattle, winner stays alive. Then we go to Philly where we can cause them to lose the 1 seed to the Vikings. In the playoffs I think our 1st opponent is most likely the Rams... you know what they say about paybacks.

Carolina is still in contention for the division they wont rest week 17.

I don;t think this is accurate. If the Eagles win this week vs Oakland, then they are locked in for the #1 seed right?

Far from a miracle.

They need all of this to happen this week and then they have to win next week as well. Yes, it will take a miracle for all of that to happy.

Saints over Falcons

Bucs over Panthers

Bengals over Lions

Eagles over Raiders

Cowboys over Seahawks

According to ESPN Playoff machine (which I know some have questioned how legit it is) we could get in over Detroit if Carolina loses twice and we win twice even without a Detroit loss. The other two ways are either two losses by the Saints or two losses by the Falcons plus one loss by the Detroit. We have to win both games also that's a given.

From the last drive through the rest of the game Oakland did outplay the Cowboys. Carr runs out of bounds (like he should have) the Cowboys lose that game.
That’s just not true. If anything it was an evenly played game. Also, If Brown doesn’t drop a gimme interception game over, Carr has no chance to run out of bounds at the 1.

Wrong again, nice exaggeration though.

Simply winning and having the Saints win would keep our hopes alive pending week 17 outcomes.

Then we root for Carolina over Atlanta and GB over Detroit.

Its not ideal but calling that a miracle is just negativity for the sake of negativity.

Ok, not miracle but let's both be honest.. an extreme long shot. Greenbay over Detroit in Detroit with the playoffs on the line and Brett Hundley at QB? It's a long shot this team makes the playoffs. 10-6 or 9-7 and not making the playoffs is very probable.

If the Falcons win earlier in the day, both teams will be out before the game even starts.

That is not true. If Atlanta or New Orleans or Carolina lose their last two, the Cowboys can get in with a Detroit loss and two Cowboys wins.

Perfect scenario this Sunday. Dallas wins. Cincinnati beats Detroit. Atlanta and Carolina BOTH lose.

Then, a Dallas win over Philly would do it as long as Atlanta and Carolina don't tie the last week.

No, it doesn't look good, but it doesn't all hinge on Atlanta.
