Anybody else hoping he plays miserably against the Eagles just to stop the hype train on this forum? Well? I can’t be the only one?

if anyone really thinks he's the answer they need some help

A lot of people thought Dak was the answer last year too. Rush pretty much had the same preseason success as Dak did last year. So how do you know that Rush doesn’t have it? I hope he gets to play a lot this weekend. We have already seen what Dak can do and this season is over. No need for him to play at all.

And the answer is no. I want QB competition because Dallas blew the chance for competition the last time and it hurt the team this year.

Our coaches wouldn't let Romo play because it would hurt Dak's feelings.. I doubt he will let Rush play for the same reason. Dak knows he has our coaches (and some fans still amazingly) hoodwinked.. doesn't want to give that up.

We are stuck with Dak until injury and/or Jerry dies. That is our reality.

I don’t think he is mobile enough to have success in this crap scheme.

You have to make plays with your legs in a Jason Garrett pass scheme.

If he plays great against Philly’s scrubs later in the game it’s going to have the opposite affect. All the Dak haters (Romo) lovers will be pulling for Rush to be our QB next season. Let’s face it some on this board have already come to the conclusion that Dak isn’t the answer. They wanted him pulled last season despite the great season he and the team were having.

The only sample we have is preseason. Granted it isn't much and the bullets aren't flying. He looked good then in this system. If we're running the 1990s offense, then mobility isn't key. Aikman wasn't mobile. Accuracy and timing are key.

I hope Dak plays great and if Rush gets any playing time, I hope he plays well too. I would like the idea of knowing we have two good quarterbacks on the roster.

That said, I also believe that all positions should be up for grabs every training camp. Not because I am down on any player, but rather I believe that competition pushes people to improve and play better.

Saw Dak & Rush in training camp at Star this year. Didn't think either had good arm talent in their QB sessions. I still think Dallas needs to bring in vet QB to back-up Dak and maybe even compete if Dak regression goes into next year.

Rush looked ok in some preseason games and people expect him to be good?

Did you guys forget daks preseason? He was amazing. Talk about delusional fans.
