You know that was Garrett seeing the writing on the wall if an actual accomplished offensive coach was brought on staff and complaining to daddy about it.

Wade was much better than Garrett. Same playoff results in half the tenure. The press clowned him cause he was a folksy fat guy, whereas Garrett was the Ivy League Golden Boy. Problem is, only one of these guys knows how to coach football

Wade took on much of what Parcells built so it is hard to say. But the team quit on Wade really quickly. Not sure if that was 100% his fault or not. The environment can get toxic rather quickly so who knows.

He had good timing here. Take over a Parcells team that was ready to win. The young core was entering their prime. The QB was ready. It's the only reason a complete bum head coach like Phillips could have any success whatsoever here. Not shockingly, he left the team worse off than what he inherited. Could you imagine Wade taking over the slop Parcells did in 2003?

You should really hate that Wade Phillips was even here. That hire told you that Jerry was back and learned nothing from the Parcells years. He was just as weak and incompetent as Dave Campo.

Garrett wants to win of course he does. I think he knows the game plan needs to get better so I think the offense will change a bit even if we keep the same coordinators.

I mean it can happen. People dont have to get fired to see results. Even if I want them too. I suppose the team can improve. I just hate waiting for this process to actually deliver results.

Once Wade realized JG sucked, he tried to get Dan Reeves to train JG but JG complained and Jerry shut down the idea giving some ridiculous excuse. Something to do with Dan Reeves not wanting to punch the time clock .

Saying I was calling out members is a bit extreme. I was pointing out that Garrett, like the several coaches before him have not been great. Replacing Garrett going to make a difference? Obviously the last several coaches have not.
