I know this has about as much of a chance of happening as a snowball's chance in hell, but if Jimmy Johnson were to be lured out of retirement by Jerry, how would you feel about it, and what would be the result.

5 years $60 Million might do it.

Jimmy can't even make it through the 3pm game without bailing the Fox set. Don't think he would want to work that much anymore. But it would be fun!

Only way he would even consider it if he wanted to cement which should be and will be eventually a hall of fame career.

On second note..no way it’s happening. He isn’t leaving the boat and beer to deal with Jerry again.

Anyways..I want a coach that is young and hungry, not a coach that may come for a couple years and leave. If we were starved for talent, maybe he could fill a Parcells role and retool the team but this is a talented team.

Time to turn the page. That goes for the fanbase and Jerry and company. Turn the damn page. Too many are stuck reliving it. Make new history. There are glory days to be had.

He's going to be 75 years old in July. No thanks.

Don't even get me started on all our talent.

Jimmy had to put too much into coaching. I am sure he would still be coaching if he liked it.

Jimmy has zero interest in returning to coaching, he's enjoying his life in Florida, NO amount of money will entice him

lol, why in the world would Jimmy give up the kushy gig he has now and return to the grind of coaching in the NFL again especially having to deal with our lunatic dysfunctional owner again?

lol, 60M? He wouldn't get back in this circus for 60M per year.

It is a different era. Jimmy was successful prior to the salary cap. He did not do all that well in Miami and doubtful he would make a difference now. Somethings are just left in the past. Joe Gibbs part deux ring a bell for anyone?

Won’t give the OP too much grief, because time does get away from all of us, but Jimmy would instantly be the oldest coach in NFL history (by more than a couple of years) on day one of any deal he signed. That’s how far out it would be...
