Get Cousins at all costs!

The problem with bringing in a vet like Bradford is going to be the cost. Bradford was doing well for Minny before yet another injury so he is going to want a big pay check. There are several QB needy teams this year that have the $$$ to throw at these Vet QBs, I don't think we can afford to out bid any of them if we want D_Law and Martin to sign on the dotted line.

Fair enough about the cost. He will likely be costly. However, I did just open a new thread about Veteran QBs that I would like to bring in. I have seen that Matt Moore and Kellen Clemens are also slated to be backups. They wouldn't likely be expensive, and one of those two has previous experience here. Matt Moore would be serviceable as a backup. As for Clemens, he'll be 35 by the time that the next season starts, but he'd be a terrific mentor for Dak. He'd be a well of knowledge and experience for Dak.

How was he on pace for MVP when he already had two INTs returned for TDs against Denver and looked like garbage and was able to garner some yardage to pad stats when being blown out by the Broncos or over throwing Dez three times in a row against the Giants? Against the Commanders the first game, dude only threw for 143 yards and Zeke scored both TDs and Dak couldn't find the end-zone and they had to settle for 4 FGs in the second half and he coudln't even cross into red-zone territory. And our final TD was on an INT return by Jones. He couldn't even break 100 hundred yards passing against a battered Washington team with a bottom of the barrell defense the next time around. We scored because our OL was absolutely dominating on run blocking and Alfred Morris was running all over that defense and then we got a TD by Switzer on a kickoff return for a TD.

Dak was garbage like normal against the Rams starting the second half and was sailing passes and threw an awful INT during the second half. COuldn't score once again in the third against GB either and only moved the ball in the fourth when Linehan gave them a heavy dose of Elliott.

That's what you call MVP play? Ridiculous..
Don't take my word for it go look at the stats. Dak actually had more TDs then Wentz at one point and was tied with Watson as well. It's more impressive that his TDs was on pace with Wentz and Watson even with the Denver debacle

LOL ya and Elephants can fly bud...reminds me of the Blue's Brother where JB meets Carrie in the tunnel ....my car got stolen...house caught on fire....ran out of gas....locust locust....Man lets down to the guts of the Dak's situation....is he qualified to be our Franchise QB for the next 10 years.....NO...not even close so far!!!
I posted facts so guess elephants can fly.

Hey Jerry how about you go out and get Cousins and give us a Franchise QB who's got all the talent necessary to take this Team along with Zeke and our offline to the Superbowl! Without a quality QB teams go nowhere (unless they have the 2000 Ravens def) and waiting for Dak to become a Cousins might take forever or simply never happen!

Jerry probably won't so our troubles at QB will continue and continue and continue!!!

Another troll that just got put on ignore.

Don't know how much cap savings letting Dez go. Cousins hasn't proven he is a franchise qb, Dak just needs recievers that can get open and a TE that isn't slow and can't get downfield in Witten.

Dont even give the troll the time of day or satisfaction of an answer.

Yes, let’s ignore all of his other middling to poor stats and focus on TD. Which really were more about number of possessions and pace of game and clearly leveled out to where they were supposed to be by the end of season.
MVP, lol.

Yeah because we all know that is how stats work. Average 2 TDs a game for 8 weeks, lose your LT, have a dinged up RG, lose you star RB and have 6 TDs the rest of the season. Sure it was just coming back to the mean.

Or, he had 23 TD last year and 22 TDs this year. Do you think I can find an 8 game stretch last year where he also had 16 TDs? Guess what, troll? I can! That’s why you play the whole schedule. Numbers clearly aren’t your strong suit. Time to enroll in your local community college.

That's not true at all.

Wentz had 5 picks
Watson had 8 picks
Dak has 4 picks
........ Look at that, I'm not too smart but who threw less picks or is that stat not count.

Let's look at yards, Watson missed a game and Dak had a bye while Wentz did not.

Wentz 2063
Dak 1818
Watson 1699

245 yards is all that separates Wentz and Dak even though Wentz had 1 more game.

Let's look at completion percentage.

Wentz lowest was 53.3..... Had multiple 50 percent completion. His highest was 70

Watson lowest was 52.2 with his high being 73.5

Dak lowest was 55.6 with his highest being 72.2. By the way Dak only had 1 game with a 50 percent completion.

...... Again Dak worst completion percentage was better then both Wentz and Watson. Watson did have 1.3 percent high compared to Dak.

Let's talk rushing TDs.

Wentz goose egg and a bent back paper clip leg.

Watson had 2 rushing scores

Dak has 4 doubling both Wentz and Watson together.

So you can keep talking out your hind end and anybody else that wants to make up things and I will continue to school you.

Edit..... Wentz had more possessions as his defense got multiple turnovers a game and most giving him the ball in the redzone. Nice try though

Sounds like a color coding system you would use for a child in kindergarten.

You get a blue star today. He gets a red star. And yoooou get a purple star because you have been bad.
And all this time I thought all my red stars were bad. My childhood is really messed up now haha

It’s weird the lengths that some will go to make someone look good. What is with all of these weird high/low stats? Do you really think people are dumb enough to fall for all of these shenanigans?
After 8 games the only stat that Dak had that was even a little MVP like was his rating, which was 97.9, good for 9th in the league. Now that was bloated by his unsustainable TD rate and was never going to last, but it was top 10 and good. After that it falls apart, he was 16th in completion percentage, 22nd in the league in yards per attempt and since you are talking MVP the team record comes in and they were only 5-3. There was easily a dozen other candidates who you would look at before even thinking about Dak. Nice try with the goofball made up stats though. Back to Madden you go.

I am in awe of the people on here calling Cousins an average qb. His last 3 seasons were fantastic on subpar teams and without a true #1 receiver. 65% completion and 13000+ yards. This guy deserves to be paid and Jville would be crazy to not throw every dollar they have in their cap to get him.

They aren't made up unless NFL.com is liars. I posted high and low on completion percentage do I didn't have to write 8 different ones for Wentz and 7 each for Dak and Watson.

Here is some home work. How many in the 50s percentage was Dak and how many did Wentz have.

Way to dance around though and try your best to discredit proven facts that I posted
