I get football intelligence. I have never seen this specific type of intelligence ever in a game. I am asking if you have a specific example of a player intentionally not scoring a touchdown when a touchdown is actually needed. Do you have an example that I can research?

Doug Pederson would have probably done it.

Not a single NFL FO would ever agree with those statements. Man where did these newbies come from? Can we send them back? Smh:facepalm:
Do you believe everything you read? Little suggestion. You shouldn’t! My words were twisted by a guy with an agenda. His agenda: Let’s bash Dak when ever we have a chance even if it doesn’t make sense.

I agree.. Tom Brady is a genius.

What does that have to do with Dak?
Moore is twice as smart as Dak is and he retired..

It doesn’t matter how smart Moore is he can’t play which is why he retired. Garrett was probably a lot smarter than Aikman. Big deal. I can assure you Dak isn’t stupid or he wouldn’t be playing the position at this level.

So, no examples? I didn’t think so. Smart coaches and players wouldn’t pull that stunt. You pull that when you are leading or only need a FG. When you have to score a TD you don’t kneel instead of scoring.

This really does not deserve a response, but I’ll play along. Why do you think Moore is no longer in the league?( He is very smart )

He doesn’t have a specific example, because criticizing Dak for that is a ridiculous reach on his part to question his football intelligence.

And this is why the arguments here get stupid. Because it’s one thing to think Dak isn’t the future. It’s another thing to question the guys football intelligence and criticize him for scoring a touchdown when the team needs a touchdown. It’s a ridiculous argument, because the guy has such a strong agenda against Dak that he has to be over the top about it, rather than have a reasonable argument.

Just like other posters go over the top and call him “noodle arm” and a “high school QB” etc. which is preposterous.

Since when I saw 356 close to 400 hards lol?

You harp on yardage but conveniently won't mention his touchdown to interception ratio.

Oh, 356 sucks.. I'm sorry, but 93 yards is great..

So what? They won... You conveniently forget that he brought them back on his ARM alone, while their OL was floundering the first two games and they had no running game with Randle..

I never implied that 356 yards. I was just stating you are lying and 400 yards isn't 356 and its not close to 400. If you wanted to round it up? You could've said 360.

So we are going to blame Romo's TD ratio that season on Randle?

Dak as the Sundance Kid. One of the many classic scenes from this great movie.

I thought franchise QB’s are guys who play with slop around them and then “make everybody else better”

LOL.........right, so when he had the 2nd best rookie season in the history of the NFL that didnt "show you anything"?

Or the first 8 games of this year when he was on pace for 40 TD's?

Talk about selective memory. Dak was blowing it off the record books through the first 24 games of his career.

Did anything big happen starting in game 9-16 of this year that changed things dramatically for Dak and the team?

When I watched the video I got a little sick. The Dallas Cowboys QB can't be like that, it is inexcusable but then I realized I also had a hangover (like Dak) and realized I couldn't even watch the video straight, so he gets a pass. All that matters is what he does on the field. He gets another year from me. Last season was a complete disaster from the Front Office all the way to the kicker. If I see garbage next season, I'll call it garbage...next year is big for Dak.

Has there ever been a time when a team needing a TD, intentionally didn’t score a TD when given the opportunity?

I have seen a team intentionally not score when a touchdown wasn’t necessary, but never when they needed a touchdown to win.

Do you have any real game situations where a team down by 4 or more points intentionally downed the ball instead of scoring?

Also, did Zeke take this type of criticism in 2016 when he scored a touchdown after the 2 minute warning against Pittsburgh instead of taking a knee when we were down by 1 and FG would win the game?
It has happened. First or 2nd down and the player downed the ball 1 foot from the goalline.

It's generally a coaches call. Players would normally not make that decision themselves.

I have seen it called before but not when a team is needing a touchdown. I am asking if anyone knows of a specific example when that has occurred.

Here is an example of Maurice Jones Drew doing it back in 2009. The Jags are down by only 1 point though. I can’t find an example of team doing this down by 3 or more points. They are either winning or down by 2 or fewer points and a field goal is all that is required to win the game.

Does anyone have an example of when that has occurred? If it is such a smart football move, an example shouldn’t be hard to produce.
