Which is..........?

Scramble and throw check downs?
Check down

Check down

A little of what he does best

A little more..
Pass to T. Will is what he does best

All these scrambles that led to downfield strikes.

Couple of off passes; a couple perfect strikes that were dropped.

More of what Dak would look like with a more reliable target.

Here is what Dak absolutely does best. Only the moronic would argue otherwise(WillieBeamen, Risen, you Erod)

Dude, just stop. This is obvious to EVERYBODY but you apparently.

Dak is just awful downfield, especially down the seam.

If we need to bring in Trevor Siemian to push Dak then we are in bigger trouble than anyone of us like to admit.

Dak hasn’t been around long enough to require a push.
He is aware of the pressure to succeed. This whole notion of a 3 rd year QB somehow improving because he is being pushed is just disguised Dak hate from people that either don’t get it or do get it and just want to make a statement that Dak sucks.

I see zero evidence that a Daks struggles were from lack of being pushed which means lack of caring or effort.
If they want to help Dak then they would do what the eagles did with Foles and what the rams did with Goff...ask him to do what he does well.

Does well ? They want him to run ?

Ya'll gotta quit ragging on poor Dak . . . if he saw some of these comments, he'd be downright sad.

I'll betcha if he comes back kicking butt and taking names, we'll all start raving about him wildly. :)

Prescott is not going to face legitimate competition. I doubt even Cooper Rush gets it.

In fact, I would be impressed if we even drafted a QB.

I completely agree with that. I do think the performance of Rush in preseason will be a factor in the 2019 draft if Dak does not turn the corner. That may prolong the agony though......

Oh it will, if this organization is dump enough to let an undrafted FAs good game against 3rd and 4th stringers influence them and any decision regarding the QB position. There is a reason your don’t see allot of Tony Romo stories in the NFL.

In 2016 he completed 68% of his passes and threw for 3700 yards.
That’s a lot of checkdowns isn’t it?

Facts are a funny thing aren’t they?

He certainly didn’t check down Charlie his way to rookie of the year.
Look at how many games last year his QB rating was below 90....90...better than Troy Aikman lifetime average.

Id love Siemians as a back tbh.

Would be one of the better back up situations in the league.

But if you want competion, he isnt that guy

Yep, but Tony Romo will make everybody think about it more than they normally would. That said if Dak does not turn the corner this year Rush will see the field at some point late in the year.

Ironically, link opens on youtube and shows Dak's two good passes against the Raiders. Lasts about 15 seconds.

Then the "Romo goes off against the Broncos" immediately starts playing for about 4minutes of his most prolific day. Probably not helping your point.

Romo being a prolific passer has nothing to do with whether Dak can or cannot be a quality starter in the league. Once he finished developing.

The Broncos interest in shopping Siemian is based on their determination he can't cut it. If we actually were to give up a player or draft pick for a QB I would want it to be for someone that hasn't already been tagged as someone that can't cut it.

I'm not sure Trevor is even better than Rush.

I wonder why Alex Smith isn't already in the Hall of Fame...

I mean, have you seen his career QBR?!!

In this "pass happy" era, throwing for under 4,000 yards isn't exactly lighting it up...

Also, Brandon freaking Weeden completed over 70% of his passes in that little run he had with us... I mean, when you're constantly throwing checkdowns it's kinda hard not to get a good completion percentage (see Alex Smith)

Highlights can make anyone look good..

I mean , if I saw highlights of Tim Tebow in that playoff game against Pittsburgh, I would think he was a future HOFer..

Thing that matters is consistency.. we see guys like Rodgers and Brees make those throws so often that we are used to it... Guys like Dak and Tebow? We say "Did that really just happen?!! Did he complete a deep throw?!!"
