you think its Mcclays fault? he is not the one who is looking at JAGs all the time, its his boss Stephen Jones who has made it a priority not to sign big names AT ALL.

:clap::clap::clap::clap:beat me to it.....how we know he didn't recommend a lot the same quality FAs that other teams signed, only to his boss tell him we couldn't afford them. This is all Stephen Jones and cheap azz. It's finally starting to catch up with him.

The Cowboys are freeing up cap space and this move will give Taco more playing time. This is a wise business decision.

Going younger, look for Dallas to add another D-lineman in the draft

Big move coming. We are bringing in that guy from that mcdonalds around the corner from the star. He will solve all of our problems.

Creates roughly $2.75M in cap room.

Good move to cut him now, bad move to overpay for him 2 years ago.

This Front Office has completely whiffed in free agency the past few off-seasons yet McClay gets an extension?

Why exactly?
Jerry is comfortable with him.

IMO should have traded him before cuts last year. Coming off a 6 sack season he could have gotten us a late round pick

We gave him $8.25M, $3.3M guaranteed, for a guy with 23 career tackles and 2 sacks. It was not a good signing. It reeks of the failed recent trend to be clever instead of signing talented football players who make us better.

It was a complete and utter shot in the dark signing because they had little cash to sign a real DE. So they wasted money on a guy who had no production but dazzled with athleticism.

Not trying to be Johnny Downer...but when looking at what the Iggles are doing as opposed to US so far, we ought to be very worried for say,THE NEXT 5-7 YEARS. We had better have one HELLUVA plan draftwise and in Free agency or this year will be even more unbearable than the last. The Iggles are setting themselves up to dominate for many years to come because they have a good plan in place, and we DO NOT IT SEEMS. I'm concerned guys.

Sooo glad he’s gone. Should have been cut on spot during Green Bay playoff game.
He’s the dope that sissy-jogged off field allowing Rodgers to quick snap for 12 man penalty.
Next play long touchdown pass.
Parcels right once again; dumb people do dumb things.

Average player, brought in for rotational depth, served his purpose, now he’s gone.

SOP in the NFL...
