I think the jets are setting up whoever is going to be sent there for failure. They're going to look at this guy as the reason that they are missing all of these 2nd rounders and expect him to turn around the franchise immediately.

Also off topic, but true story, as a kid I notice Jimmy Johnson at a Zak store in Irving and followed him around as a stalker. This was after Cowboys won 2 Superbowls.

its a HUGE gamble. Unless they made calls ahead of this deal and just asked what those teams in the top 2 were gonna do. Maybe they felt reassured there player would be there at 3. Gotta think that's what happened.
