News: Dez To Work With “Route Guru”

He's got to stay healthy and keep his head in the game. Be a leader too. I hope we give him some WR help. That would add a better dimension IMO.

Let's give Dez another 8 years to get his head right. I mean there is no use in getting in a hurry to fix him. Hell this is passionate Dez we are talking about.

I don't think that's the issue. I think the fact that Dez has waited until the fans have brought tar, feathers and pitchforks to the the party to START working on his route running is too little too late for many fans. And rightly so.
Exactly........waits 8 yrs and then decides to work on his route tree.

Haaaaaaabaaaaaa.......no wonder Scotty wants him gone

But...but Dez is a passionate player he goes about things the right way. I have heard Garrett say this a number of times. There is no way Dez would wait this far into his career to polish his route running. This is yet another attempt to besmirch the good name of Dez Bryant......Right.....right:facepalm:

And you cant blame just Dez. How can the coaches sit back and watch this guy run routes every day and not demand better? A bunch of bums from top to bottom.

Instead of correcting him, they simply ONLY allow him to run the few routes that he does well. Hence leading more to the predictability of the offense. Just goes to show how absolutely horrid the coaching is here.

Bingo. This team has no chance of going anywhere. The coaching staff fails them every where you look. But you can take this a step further.. Jerry fails the team by hiring puppet coaches. 22 years of this crap. Please sell the team Jerry. You suck.

Interesting. He is doing soemthing the “haters” have wanted him to do? Haters suck.

Perform up to contract standards and the haters will run away. It's crazy you can't be objective at all. He produced as the 23rd or 24th receiver last year and had a top 5 salary before these new contracts.

He hasn't slapped his moms in the better part of a decade, cut him some slack!

Finally. Wish he would have done it sooner rather than just ignore coaching and tried to rely on fading athleticism.

He could have been one of the all-time greats had he agreed to be more coachable early on. Now I hope he kicks *** with the time he has left.

He’s still the best WR we have by a wide margin, and he can’t be replaced in the draft, not in one year. Dez has limitations, but I think he has a nice rebound year this year.

mr gp--no doubt...he needs coach camp and a whole lot more...his lack of improving on gameday is unacceptable...but Jerry loves him some Garrett
What is funny is the whining about his need to improve his rout running and the same people whining when he does attempt to

Scotty wants him thrown out with the trash.

I think he is gone

lol, so to some..........immature + lack of self control + failure to learn routes = "passionate".

What the hell have the WR coaches been doing the past 8 years?
Could be a case of Dez not taking to the coaching offered and is now realizing it is necessary. Or the coaches were derelict.
Derek Dooley was likely listening to Dez and DEZ was dictating to Dooley what he would and wouldn't work on. He was an enabler. The new wr coach we hired likely sat him down and told him what he expects and what he needs to fix to stay on the team. Sanjay has that type of reputation around the league. He was a great hire.
