News: Dez To Work With “Route Guru”

Or he's been dominant for a long time with no one questioning his route running, then he became no longer dominant and folks started roasting his route running. so he... heard the criticisms and decided to work on that aspect?
I doubt it transpired in that fashion. Dez loves him some Dez.... Now that throwing up the X isn't happening as often and fans are ready to toss him out to pasture, he is feeling the pressure. Gotta keep that gravy train flowing.

I'd restructure this guy in a heartbeat and wouldn't even think twice. 7 to 8 mil per year with escalating incentives for "performance". Imagine that. Getting paid to go above and beyon.... What a concept.....

And you cant blame just Dez. How can the coaches sit back and watch this guy run routes every day and not demand better? A bunch of bums from top to bottom.

Instead of correcting him, they simply ONLY allow him to run the few routes that he does well. Hence leading more to the predictability of the offense. Just goes to show how absolutely horrid the coaching is here.
Absolutely we don't have a culture of accountability, we have a culture of "do whatever you want, as long as you're selling jerseys".

He actually didn’t
And per target his drops were not all that bad

It's not just about drops. His drops have increased, but it is also about coming down with fewer of the more difficult receptions he has made in the past. Pull up his highlight reel. It wasn't just filled with wide open, perfectly thrown balls. Dez was a monster out battling DBs. That was what made him great despite not being a good route runner. He doesn't come down with those catches near as often as he used to in the past. They won't be considered "drops" but they are still balls that Dez has the ability to catch. Now, instead of expecting Dez to reel some of those in, we just claim the ball is uncatchable. If that is the case, then I wonder exactly what Dez's strength is now. And really, no one has had a good answer for that.

People assume because Dez is seeing a specific guy for the first time that every other offseason Dez has done exactly nothing.

This is stupid logic people.

Don't be stupid.
Dez is done.........we all know it

Team knows it too......tried to replace him with Watkins

He could be like Julio jones and be among league leaders every year and not catch TD’s yet he is still considered a great reciever
If all you judge a WR is by TDs it leaves a lot out. A lot. When a WR gets 1500 yards every season those yards are leading to team TDs.
