I think that looks likely, too. They clearly want to add speed guys to stretch coverage and let us move Dak around and run at that. If you do that, you probably want more than one guy so you have a threat in case the starter gets hurt. Try to get the ball to Elliott more in the passing game, keep the slot WRs who are tough to cover one on one, and maybe add a speedy RB in the 4th or 5th round to keep that wrinkle in the game. That puts Dez, Terrence, and Noah Brown in a position where one of them maybe doesn't make the final roster. I'm going to guess they try to trade Terrence at cut downs since Brown has some value on STs and they seem to like him given that they kept him active several weeks and worked him into the game plan late in the year.

Williams can’t be traded until after June 1 if you are trying to save any cap space here.

This is a perfect replacement for Butler and a stand in so that Ridley can be drafted and trained.
Dez better look over his shoulder cause Stephen will be coming for his money and lots of it.

Speed, separation, and returns kickoffs. Me likey. I've always like veteran WRs. They come cheap, but can do their jobs.

If we take Ridley, Dez probably just gets a pink slip.

Though I could see them bargaining Dez down. That would give an option next year of sticking with Ridley and Dez, and letting Williams go.

Who are you cutting?

You have
Dez & Brown both X receivers
Switz & Beas both small slots
Twill and Hurns both body catching #2s
Hurns
& draft pick

Assume no trades unless you are sending a pick to the other team as well
This may sound cliche but I'd take everybody to camp and let them fight it out.
I see Dez as a still pretty good #1 that is accounting for, what, 17 million against the cap, and guys like Beasley/Williams/Switzer are all decent players but none of them can make a defense pay for doubling Dez.
Maybe a guy like Hurns can be more productive than Williams or Beasley?
I'd like to draft a reciever that can produce on a rookie deal so we can consider moving on from Dez, from a cap standpoint because we need to build the defense, and to get rid of the temper tantrums.
JMO.
I look forward to getting your thoughts as well.

Cut by Chicago, of all places, and then landed in Buffalo for the vet minimum.
Who castes, ruffian!
Jerry will fill his stadium every weekend and charge you $8 for a beer and $21 for a small pizza.
And $30 for parking.

At his Pro Day, not the Combine.

And he still went undrafted.

when he came out, they wanted him to be a db because he had questionable hands at the time. it appears that his hands are much better from what i have read.

You guys are turning on little Ryan Switzer for this JAG? I've seen multiple comments like this since the signing.

I think the Cowboys drafted Switzer for more than just the return game and let's not forget he did take one to the house returning a punt so it's not like he didn't flash skill as a rookie.

I'm curious what Switzer can be as a receiver. I know what Thompson is. This isn't a hard call for me.

If you seen his highlights besides punt returns, you can see how he can be as a receiver.
