He got to sign in Stephen's office.
They really schmoozed him.
How dare you be positive around here! LolHe's a major upgrade to Butler.
He also can be a return guy for us. He compares to Patterson. I really like this signing.
I get that you are trying to be funny but Socrates last words according to Plato and willingly taking the hemlock were about how and why he was not afraid to die. Kinda the opposite of what your joke is trying to get at.
It's an interesting story juxtaposed to the fear and those trying hard to be malcontent that you see carrying on in this thread.
I think you are overthinking this. It's a line from a movie called Real Genius, circa 1985. That's really all it is...
Someone named Blind Faith accusing others of under thinking might be the definition of irony.A little over thinking sure beats the under thinking going on here.

Maybe because it's not so easy to draft 4.3 speed. Who knows, the change in teams might show him to have more ability than he had the chance to show in Buffalo and Chicago. Those have been terrible passing teams.
VERY interesting....can't wait to see what we got.I think there is something to this. I mean, if you look at this, just on his numbers, he compares very favorably to DJ Chark. Obviously, Chark is bigger so that, by itself, is more impressive but look at the numbers.
40 time: DJ 4.34 - DT 4.31
20 time: DJ 2.54 - DT 2.51
10 time: DJ 1.51 - DT 1.50
Bench: DJ 16 Reps - DT 20 Reps
Vert: DJ 40 - DT 36.5
Broad: DJ 10'09 - DT 10'05
Shuttle: DJ DNP - DT 4.40
3-Cone: DJ DNP - DT 6.96
Now, this doesn't mean that he is guaranteed but, I do think that it shows that he compares very favorably to one of the fastest WRs in this draft, if not the fastest WR in coming out of this draft.

agreed.I will also be interested to see how he fits. If he can catch the long ball and if Dak can find him deep, he can really help us. If not, then it's back to the drawing board but you have to try and help your Offense by putting some speed on the field and working it into the Offense. If you don't do that, then you just see more of what we got last year. Defenses playing us for only half the field, blitzing us in obvious run pass situations and limiting our ability to sustain Offensively.
That is not a winning strategy IMO.
right, and the issue with Chark is apparently route running and catching the ball. thompson had those issues coming out of school and worked on it for years. apparently both the route running and the catching are acceptable now. i read somewhere he had some issue releasing from some releases.
Thompson has the type of speed that we can draft any of the top WRs...big, little, fast, shifty, toolsy
Ridley, Sutton, Kirk, Chark, Moore, Washington

The irony is that one of the biggest under thinkers decided to comment on under thinking.
