we are not close to competing for anything come next year. am I throwing in the towel? NO. let me repeat. NO

games have to be played. teams off season additions may not always work out.

but Eagles are the champs and they get Wentz back. Minn. had a great defense added a good QB and they will get Darwin back. Rams are loading up and have added some nice pieces and they had some nice young pieces already. assuming those three are class of the division.,

so that leaves Cowboys, GB, Carolina, Seattle, Falcons, NO as the group to fight for 3 spots. which basically leaves us fighting for twoof the final spots. right now we are behind all of those teams. yes we get Zeke back and that will make a lot of difference. but its an uphill battle.

again, not throwing in the towel. just based on the off season. yes, draft to come but everyone always claims draft made them better and my draftee is better than yours.
Thank you!

*packing my **** now. When’s the next train outta town?*

I would say that were not as close as this organization thinks. I would say we're right in the middle of the NFC.
Tier one teams are Vikings, eagles, Rams,
Tier two are Saints, Falcons , Panthers, Seahawks, Packers
Tier three. Cowboys, Giants Commanders, Bucs
Tiers crumble these days. But I was told we’re no where close. *shrugs shoulders*

Wentz won’t even be back for training camp. He may never be the same QB again. The injury he suffered isn’t your typical ACL tear. Even if he is back, he won’t be 100% until mid season.

The Cowboys went 9-7 while missing Zeke for 6 games. If he doesn’t get suspended, we likely make the playoffs.

The Eagles don’t scare me in the least. Probably the weakest Super Bowl champion in 15 years.
But we have fans that believe in Wentz! We saw video claiming he’s back while throwing passes in a hoodie.

The hood was up and on his head. Lord help us!

We've won 24 games in the last two years and yall give us a zero percent chance?

Im not overly optimistic. Im seriously concerned about our franchise QB among other key positions, also our head coach.

So yeah I know we arent front runners by a long shot but we have a nice, young roster. What we need to do is give Dak time to throw the ball, play to his strengths, and let him develop.

In 2016 it looked like we had something special brewing. I think its premature to give up on that. Hope springs eternal and this year I will undoubtedly be holding out for a superbowl.

If I thought we had zero chance Id be sick to my stomach. But to each his own.

You have Seattle in tier 2 which is laughable not to mention you have Dallas in the same tier as Washington, Giants and the bucs which are 3 of the worst teams in the NFC.

There is no reason to believe that Wentz won't be fine. Heck Sean Lee has torn his ACL twice and is fine. Didn't slow down Jerry Rice either . Didn't Adrian Peterson have a great season following his ACL tear. Lots of players come back fine.
But Daks issues that concern me are arm strength and accuracy past 15 yards.

Well, Carson will come back 200% better than before. Did I mention the hood was up and over his head when he was throwing 10 yard bullets to show his commitment? It was unreal.

Maybe it was Manziel in disguise. It couldn't if been Dak though.

There is only one thing I know and that is I don't know what the surprise teams will be this season. But I do know there will be some because there have been every season. In 2016, no repeat divisions winners in the NFC and guess what, happened again in 2017. Who picked the Eagles to win the SB? Who even picked them to have a winning season?

I know one thing about the Cowboys, that offense can be a handful. Sure, some things need to fall in line like Dak rebounding and Dez contributing but that run game is a top 3 run game. The secondary was improving weekly once they got on the field and we had a pass rush. The only thing that is a negative to me at this point is missing Hitchens but I expect them to upgrade that in the draft.

We don't even know how the injuries are going to play out with all of the teams yet and that is always significant.

There is no question Wentz will be back and he will be fine. The bigger question I would be concerned with is Dak the future. He has to show me more to believe in him.

Its funny that Wentz sucked one year and was great one year but Dak sucked one year and had one great year.....yet Dak is the one who has to prove he's a franchise qb. Funny how that works.

Wentz didn't suck he was making plenty of WOW throws but the WRs were just dropping them. Kinda what happened with Dak and Dez but Wentz was threading the needle 25 yards away with the wr sprinting across the field tightly covered and would hit him the hands.
