It's not you but me and old age. It's Smith outta GA. I think I've called him that for 2-3 days. He's fallen some according to more than a few and I'm hoping he's in our range. But I like LVE more now.

I'm fine with Leonard in the 2-3 as a cover LB. I'd be happy to take a S and two LB with the first three picks although I won't hold my breath.

Here's a nugget ........if taken at 19, he will be the FIRST MLBer drafted by Jerry in the first round.
Thought they picked a guy named Jones out of north Carolina in the 1st to replace Norton back in 90s!

and Vander Esch is every bit as athletic while weighing 20lbs more

Day 1 starter at MLB. Jaylon moves to Sam.

Lack of experience doesn’t bother me.

He performed at a high level his first year and the measurables are off the charts. 2 to 3 years from now who knows how good he could be.

At worst you get a linebacker who can cover and we are desperate for that.

His frame can hold more weight too.

I hope we draft him.

Upgrade over NFL Jaylon? Yes. College Jaylon? No.

:hammer:Huge upside...Like off the charts. Scared he isn't gonna get past Green Bay. Rumor is they love him.

I wanted him until I realized we need another edge rusher. After Lawrence and Taco what do we have? Crawford and Tapper? Cmon bros

Ok. I kept looking on the internet for a lb name Green. I kept on thinking of AJ Green from the Bengals. I would love to Roquan Smith. I think he is going to be a good one. Edmunds would be my ideal pick then Smith. Don't think either one will be ther when we pick.

Part of the problem is with LVE is all anyone is talking about is his athleticism and not how good he is as a football player.

None was talking about him in the top 20 until the combine so we shouldn't be now.

19 would be a huge reach IMO.

This reminds me of how Jerry and company do like combine freaks!

I think they value high SPARQ scores in the mid round as developmental player but I don't think they've burned top 20 picks on them.

Hopefully they don't make that mistake this year.

Questions for you Catch. I have followed your draft analysis over the last three years. You were one of the first to say we should draft Carson Wentz when he was only considered a second round pick.

Do the Cowboys need to use a premium pick on the defensive line?

The Cowboys need speed on offense. Would Hines, Pettis, and/or Callaway (Florida receiver) be enough?
