Cowboys are All-In on Dak Prescott

I'm already looking forward to the game day threads this season where any time Dak hits a great throw, half the posts will be "TOLD YOU SO LOLOLOL", "WHERE'S THE HATERS" instead of just enjoying the damn game.
after listening the endless negativity here I would think there'll be some of that yes damn straight

We need the w rs that can back a defense off. We don't have them and I don't think Deonte is a player that can do it either.

We also need a less predictable offense and guys who can take short passes the distance.

It isn't all on Dak.

If Thompson gets a dozen catches this coming season, I'll be surprised. I think of him as a special teams guy.

RGIII exploded in a similar way got injured and then faded. Dak wasn't very good last year in the 2nd half and his inefficiencies were amplified with Zeke's absence. If Zeke is 100% heathy next year and he struggles there will be changes all over including at the QB position.
you have to consider the effects of TSmith's absence and pressure but ya Zeek made it all go

Hope you're wrong .....

thats all great but what happened then? [2017]
the main thing that happened is the FO failed to have depth players worthy of playing time in key positions
they failed to adjust to situations that happened in game and off the field
the result was embarrassing failure starting in Denver

It was shocking to me cause I'm a homer and some of that was indefensible
yes depth was a serious problem

And water is wet. What do people expect them to say?
If they don’t truly believe in Dak then they would be looking to draft a QB and making that known or bringing in a veteran QB for competition. Example would be Romo getting the injury bug so they brought veterans in for insurance. This was made known by the front office that they did not value Romo and his longevity during the season. Not a knock on Romo.

Dumb question. If you are a regular on this Forum, you already know what happened. If you are playing dumb, then it's only because you have some agenda to push. EVERY SERIOUS FAN knows what happened last year. It's insulting to the rest of us to pretend you don't.

I'm not biting on your troll bait.

And yet you respond....lol.

I’m sure they “believe” in Dak, but if he has a terrible year I can see them making QB a high priority. Why are we bringing Romo into this? This club has always stood behind its QB’s. Like I said and water is wet.

It's been clear right from the start. Romo not getting the job back. Romo retiring. Daks commercialisation. He is the face of the franchise no doubt. They will sink with the ship if they have to.

I was using Romo as the example because he was the Cowboys QB pretty much grew up watching and remember how his injury’s were addressed. the point was they came out and made it know that they didn’t want to jeopardize the season due to his health so they signed other QB’s. They stood behind Romo at the same time. I agree If Dak does not regain form than they will adjust accordingly but I expect them to address the issue.

He just needs to get his accuracy down on the long ball. Something he can do. Practice practice practice.

On the DC.com board that was the exact reaction to every Dez catch and if he scored a touchdown a new thread was created to say I told you so.

So you honestly think Dak could suck and he would be secure for several season so?

Don't you know, everyone is a never fail armchair expert, and everything in life only has one cause and it's either the best or worst thing ever

Championships have been won with less capable QB's than Dak. He's still a very young QB. After this season I think we can get an accurate read on Dak.
