Why not trade for a WR before the draft

I really hate going into the draft with such a glaring hole at WR, why not trade for a vet WR before the draft? we have 10 freakin picks....maybe someone like Martavious Bryant for a 3rd or 4th? lol now that I think of that....we could just hand him the 88.

No seriously, didn't NE send a 1st rounder to NO for Cooks last year?

We can still draft a WR somewhere in the draft, there is a lot of value in this years WR class

No no maybe the Browns will trade away Corey Coleman for some reason. Maybe give them a 4th
Or maybe Jarvis Laundry. I know they just traded for him and signed him to that contract but since we are playing Madden right now maybe we can pry him away for idk 4th and 6th.

In all truthfulness Cooks was sorta openly available even before the Patriots got him last year. Similair to how Laundry was out there for a while with the Dolphins. I don’t know of any number 1 WR like that right now. Odell Beckham would be the closet and I doubt the Giants would even consider such a trade.

I wouldnt call Martavious Bryant a number 1 caliber WR and plus wasn’t he suspended twice for substance abuse? Do you really want to trade assets for player like that? On this team?

Why not trade your top WR when multiple teams were offering Dallas draft pics in first week of FA? Oh, I forgot they decided to take vacation that week.

Browns are in “win as soon as possible” mode. Corey Coleman isn’t going anywhere imo.

he's not a #1 cause of Brown, he would instantly be the best WR on this roster. It's a risk but for a 4th round comp its worth the gamble.

Yeah, you can't fix every hole in one offseason due to money. You almost have to roll the dice in one or more areas. Last year we did with the secondary and it wasn't terrible. Maybe they will roll the dice with the receivers this year. If you're asking me about the draft, I say we draft a LB with the first pick to support the young secondary. Everyone counts on PROgression but no one ever thinks about REgression which does happen every year. People saw that last year with all the proclamations about what Dak would be.
