By no means did I say he was great. I said he was better than given credit for on this site. And you are right. Anyone can drop names on the internet. I really try to stay away from that. I'm assuming I'm not the only one who has access to players, coaches, agents, etc. That is why I don't post often. I just find it funny how people act like they know how the players feel when I know for a fact they feel the opposite way. Like I did say though, Garrett has to start turning in consecutive winning seasons to keep his job.

We don’t need to know how they feel because we see they play hard for him. Has any player said he’s good at devising gameplans? Onfield adjustments? Xs and Os? Of course not. They say he’s a great motivator . If you tell me a player told you yes to those three questions I’m just not believing that. Not that you care if I do but it’s whatever

Everyone loves a scapegoat. Deep down, Cowboys fans know the Joneses will never be held accountable so the head coach bears the brunt.

JG is working within the limits set by his bosses, the Joneses. Guess what? The next coach will work under the same parameters. Therein lies the problem.

Garret is, or is as bad as the worst coach in the NFL. Without Romo he would have never won 1 playoff game. His resume is pathetic and in any other franchise in professional sports he would have been NEVER HIRED AT ALL

It's not that I don't care. I'm not a pompus dude. We just talking. All good. What comes up some times is adjustments. They do think the systems works, so I guess that falls under X's and Os. They also like the fact that he stands up for his players and doesn't hang them out to dry in the media. So when y'all hate his press conferences and think he is boring, they respect that because he lets them have it behind closed doors but at a press conference he doesnt say a thing. I will say I'm speaking on behalf of 2-4 guys but my impression is that is generally a locker room feeling. I'm sure some don't like it or perhaps have tuned out.

All systems work in the nfl. Adjustments/talent set you apart. I don’t have an issue with his press conferences. I really don’t care about that, what I do care about is boneheaded decisions. The Chaz green debacle was disgraceful. Also how many games in 2016/2017 have we been losing before halftime and still won? It’s not many and I’d bet most of them were within the division where we all know each other.

If you’ve made the trip to Oxnard for training camp or watched their Hard Knocks season ten years ago, this side of him would come as no surprise.

Not that it was some sort of revelation that coaches can go potty mouthed if they feel their profanity might help drive home a point, despite how tidy their public image might appear.

Even if I wasn’t aware, would this really change my perception? Not bloody likely. These are players who’ve been screamed at and called everything except a child of God over the course of their careers. It’s old hat.

Cursing like this doesn’t really move the needle. Look at them! Staying awake seems more of a challenge.

Exactly why they should be made to kiss the rings of Garrett upon entering the organization. Show some respect.

Garrett's problem is not that he is soft. His problem is that he is not smart enough or good enough. He is not the worst coach in the league, he is middle of the road, but that is not enough to win it in this league. He doesn't have the aura and command of the team that Jimmy had, or the X's and O's knowledge of someone like Payton. This is a league in which you coaches work late hours game planning, and they always need to stay a step ahead of the competition, and Garrett is not good enough to do that.

Fans care that he get the team motivated
To play big in big games
To not get full of their own hype even though they've nothing in over 2 decades
Play winning football in the most critical games like the playoffs

Garrett has been able to do none of those things
NONE

That is why fans bring up this stuff and make fun of him because they know they have no other recourse because this red headed teflon clown is immune to being held accountable for the things other HCs are held accountable for because we have a moron for an owner
