My guess is by the end of the year he is the Mike, Lee the Will and Smith the Sam. The healthiest of those three will play the traditional Nickel. This guy will defend the intermediate middle of the field better than anyone including Lee once he learns the game.

Hitchens was a 4 round jag who was overpaid. The guy has all the size but doesn't play like it. Pick screams marinelli Tampa 2 and the scheme sucks.

On top of that, we've had good success with Boise State defensive players. So, if it's any consolation, I don't see any reason why LVE won't be different.

Boise state players. Kellen Moore, Bumdrick, Ty craw, d law. Other than d law who is a one hit wonder at this point the rest I would have been ok with passing on.

Yeah, I expressed my feeling on the player earlier today - and don't feel the need to beat a dead horse. I don't see it, but I can only hope this one pans out and proves useful, because I do not root against our players for the sake of being on the right side of a debate.
