Raiders fans on Jihad Ward

Ward is only 23, started 13 games as a rookie and then was injured most of last year. Hard to make any real judgements on him after such a short time period. Has potential and fills a need, while Switzer would be riding the bench.
mr this is----at first i was upset at the trade but after calming down and listening to others i feel a lot better about it

big dog--- since i am a cripple i get away with cripple jokes...i have this friend who got both hands blown off in Iraq...I.U.D...and chose to have hooks placed on his arms as prosthetic devices...anyway he was terribly discriminated against and i did not like it...in fact one time we went into our favorite bar and the bartender refused to serve him...well...this really got me riled up....and i shook my finger at the bartender demanding an answer why?...the bartender calmly looked at me and said..."Cause your friend cant handle his liquor"..hehehehe
Lol... I would definitely commission a cup holder prosthetic! It would hold 6 cups at once...

The Raiders fans are likely about equally as unimpressed with Jihard Ward as I am about Switzer. They've both underachieved in no uncertain terms in their short careers with both teams. Whatever happens will be of little consequence to me, as I'm expecting little to nothing of either one. LIke Charley Casserly said recently, both teams gave up nothing for nothing! That sounds about right to me . . . Whatever comes of either beyond that is gravy.

Fuzzy---yes for me a 300 + lb DT who only presses 20 on bench is not strong...but more precisely 20 is probably the cut-off point before coaches have concern...so i agree i was a little over the top on that one...and you are correct...when i went back to check he was projected 3rd round not 5th...but saying his jumps are good for a man his size...25 verticle is not good sir and a 4.63 shuttle is slow sir and a 1.75 10 yd dash is very slow sir..but thank you for the corrections
Don't listen to them. If the Cowboys were serious about addressing the 1-tech position, they wouldn't have passed up on either Tim Settle in the 5th round or Kendrick Norton late in the 7th.

If he had played like a stud in the NFL thus far, Cowboys wouldn't have been able to get him for Switzer. So it's not surprising Raider fans don't have a high opinion of Jihad.
Some of them said they would have liked to have seen him for another year.

They guy was very raw coming out. Probably over drafted. And I think he was hurt much of last year.

Worth a look and we lose nothing really now with what we did in the draft and adding Austin. Seems the team soured on Switzer.

There are two new big time running backs that joined the NFCE for us to face four times this year.
If they run all over this defense, I hope Marinelli is held accountable. If Rod shuts them down, then he deserves almost all of the credit.
sd---- wow i knew of this but did not really consider it....facing barkley twice a year with a much improved O line for Giants and the Commanders improved their running attack...i hope cowboys know what they are doing...cause we in my opinion need a serious run stopping 1-tech to help out our linebackers...now i am getting nervous again

And people forget that Marinelli produced good seasons from Terrell McClain and George Selvie, who weren't on an NFL roster when Dallas brought them in. Another example was Jeremy Mincey, who was a bargain basement FA that hadn't produced in years.

If Jihad Ward produces like the three guys I just listed, the trade is a win for us. Switzer was on the outside looking in after this draft.
Can you say "Golden Cock"? They managed to squeeze a little sumptin out of that turd.

Jihad just needs a good nickname and he's in.

He won't ignore me. I just sent him a wheel of Casu Marzu. You know how hard that is to get?
Well... not that hard, but bringing it into America! Well, that's not too hard either, but eating it once you get it!!!
That's hard.
dont know what it is...but sounds good
