Referring to one or the other...Foles is far from elite and NE’s defense was in the bottom 5 overall.

Is Dak set up to fail???? Most definitely. Just like Romo he is saddled with poor coaching. No QB will win anything meaningful here until we hire a real coach.

Switzer won in "95" and there really was any coaching on the team ......blame the coaches blame the offline,blame Zeke whos fat now....in the end its all on Dak .....

If I were an opposing DC I would stack the box and do whatever it took to contain Zeke. I would dare Dak to beat me from the pocket. I think that is what you will see until proven otherwise.

What about average to below average QB?

Yep. He had some atrocious games in 2016 when he mostly just had to drive the bus.

..He just doesn't have the talent. It's really as simple as that. Everyone would agree with me if he wore a rival uniform.

There is no "stacked box" that our O-line won't blow up and spring Zeke for at least 5 yards this season. But of course you can't do that all game long so Linehan and Dak better be on the same sheet of music with the passing game.

you have Dak coming off a down 2ND HALF OF SEASON due to his poor play, poor play by WRs, poor coaching scheme, LT getting hurt, RB getting suspended & then you take away his top talent WR, he loses his TE & this year he goes into the year with a lot of question marks of hope around him.. Between the 20-20 we will be fine but we don’t have a red zone solution at all but we will see

Yeah except for a large portion of last season(in which he played "poorly) he didn't have even a decent line and he surely didn't have the best back in the game with Morris and Smith.
When Dak's had a decent to good line his numbers have been elite.

The problem isn't going to be talent. it's going to be coaching... but the scapegoat is already being set up and it's Dak. When we get in the next QB to 'save this franchise' and Garrett is still here, we will here the crying about him. Garrett couldn't get out of the second round with prime Romo, Dez and Witten, so what will be different? Doesn't matter how skilled your qb is if the opposing defenses already know everything you're going to do. You can bully some defenses, but you won't bully the best in the league.

And so is the Rams D front with the addition of Suh and so is Phillys with the addition of Bennett and so is Denvers with the addition of Chubb. Take one look at last years thksgiving game vrs the Bolts and you will see what we have exactly with Mr. Prescott.

The secret is out stop Zeke and have Dak beat you as Denver showed the way.
He simply doesn't have the arm talent and mindset to accomplish this.

Dak proved he could win in 2016. If he gets back to that then we'll be okay.
