I will not attend a game at Jerry World nor will I do anything that puts another penny in Jerruh's pocket until they improve the product they sell.

Everytime you visit a Cowboys forum or mention them on the internet you are puting money in Jerry's pocket.

If you want to hurt Jerry you should stop talking about them at all and go on with your life.

LOL WOW some act like they're related to Zeke or something! Poor guy. This is ridiculous. I'm sure the NFL doesn't really give a ratsazz!

That's not entirely accurate. Within the policy there is a specific DV policy that the NFL put in place a couple of years ago. That policy calls for 6 games. What Winston did would not fall under that specific policy.

You’re right. But then again, the NFL showing that they take sexual assault less seriously than domestic violence is extremely dumb on Goodells part. Doesn’t surprise me of course, but dumb nonetheless.

Fans have a hard time seeing the NFL as an "employer" but that's what it is, and no employer can adopt an "anything goes as long as you don't get arrested" policy. To do so would be asking for lawsuits from employees, potential customers, etc.. Companies carry insurance for that sort of thing for a reason.

Employers don’t hold their own investigations into somebody’s behavior that occurs outside of the workplace though. Last I checked Zeke and Jameis’ alleged behaviors didn’t happen at the practice facility or in an NFL stadium.

The NFL spelled it out why they reduced it. Because Jameis chose not to challenge it which goes back to the NFL agenda. To sweep under the rug as soon as possible after showing they’re trying to be tough.

I suspect they might have done the same with Elliott if he hadn’t challenged it but he was convinced or poorly advised by Jerry he could win it.

And if they had I think most would have more accepted 3 games especially at beginning of season. I commend Jameis and whoever advised him for a much easier resolution.

Just a question...if you were convinced that Jerry DIDN’T advise Zeke to fight, and was actually opposed to it, would you So heartily commend Jameis for his “easier resolution”?

Oh no, they care. Profits for 2017 were only $14 Billion. You think they didn't want $14.2 Billion last year? They're mighty interested in this here thread and are probably shaking in their boots. Profits might barely crack $15 Billion this year.

People can and do get fired for behaviors or comments outside the workplace that are deemed racist and sexist, or really for any behavior the company may deem damaging to its image. This isn't unique to the NFL, and in fact, in some cases the NFL may be more favorable to employees in that it suspends and fines rather than just fire.

How do you figure? I post on this blog and it puts money into Jerry's bank account? You have to explain that to me. Are you suggesting that anything related to speaking about the Cowboys keeps their franchise top of mind and therefore enriches them?

Reality #1: the Cowboys are the most valuable team-sport franchise on the planet. They are perennially at or near the top in NFL home attendance, road attendance, merch sales and TV revenue (and any other revenue stream you might wanna add).

Reality #2: regarding individual fans stating their intent to boycott the team, the Dallas Cowboys and their sponsorship partners have absolutely NO f—ks to give.

But don’t let me spoil your rant...

I've been protesting this suspension bull crap all year! I cannot be denied the measly 16 games (minimum) that the Cowboys actually do play.

Maybe “easier “ wasn’t the best word. How about smarter resolution ?

In the end the NFL IMO doesn’t appear to view Winston’s offense as publicly damaging to the league as Elliott’s. And I’d probably agree.

I also believe Elliott was misguided in his pursuit to challenge the ruling.

Yes sir. I’m definately protest something this year regarding NFL, just have decided what yet. I think I’m upset about the Monday and Sunday night football intro songs. They are terrible, and it’s about time someone takes a stand

Unfortunatly the machine is too big to change anything...the fact that there were more viewers of some of the Sunday night games than of the entire NBA playoffs up to the finals should tell you something

Reality #3: The NFL operates in the United States of America. If you want to operate in the USA, you must abide by the U.S. Constitution. Implementing punishment against a constituent without any reasonable evidence or due process violates the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. Therefore, Goodell should be sentenced to 25+ years in hard prison (general long-term -- with murderers, rapists, etc) per offense for violating each victim's (Elliott+others) U.S. constitutional rights.

I do not have time to teach you how sales and clicks work when it comes to the internet. Just keep *****ing about Jerry and loading his pockets
