Your Favorite One Hit Wonder Song

Here are several #1 hits from the 60's where the singer/group never had a top-40 hit again:

"Teen Angel"
"Alley Oop"
"Mr Custer"
"Telstar"
"Sukiyaki"
"Dominique"
"Eve of Destruction"
"Winchester Cathedral"
"Judy in Disguise"
"Love is Blue"
"Harper Valley PTA"
"In the Year 2525"
"Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye"

"Dominique" is probably the most unlikely song to hit #1 out of all of these... Sung by a Belgian nun.

Harper Valley PTA might be the winner. That song was huge and she just fell off the map after that. Course when Tom T. Hall is writing your songs for you, you're bound to have some success.
