So, I was told on June 5th that Ford was doing a full buy-back on my lemon Fusion. Still waiting for a drop off date here on July 13th. Irritated is an understatement.

So, I was told on June 5th that Ford was doing a full buy-back on my lemon Fusion. Still waiting for a drop off date here on July 13th. Irritated is an understatement.

I would call the dealership and pester them till kingdom come.

Unfortunately, Daboyz, it's not a dealership issue, its a Ford Co. issue. And now that my lawyers got their 15K, they don't need to rush around. And they have the contacts to make things happen, if I call Ford, I get some twenty-something dude who doesn't know a Fusion from a F150. Let alone the minutia of my case. It took me 6 months to get reimbursed for a recall I had to pay for and get replaced (rear door latch), dealing directly with those fools.

So I'm left here siting on my hands, at the mercy of the two parties handling this (my attorneys and Ford).

Gah. It's incredibly frustrating.

That's horrible Trouty. Yes, attorneys have the tendency of dragging their feet. Your situation, unfortunately, is definitely a catch 22.
